Classic burgers cooked to order and served on a buttered, toasted potato roll. Finished with house made toppings like bacon-onion jam, chili, and grilled onions. Crispy fries, tots, and sweet potato fries are served with house made dippers like roasted garlic aioli, spicy ranch, AL sauce, and sriracha aioli. Wash it down with a Coke with “chewy” ice, a cold beer, or a cookies n cream shake. Good is Good, Y’all!

1. The half and half tots and fries were more like 70/30. With the fry basket being cheaper than tots, I don’t feel like the balance was fair.
2. Burgers really seem fresh and hand made, but everything else (although good) appeared to be prepackaged. Not necessarily a bad thing, but would be great if fries were more unique/premium.
3. Expensive, worth it, but when compared to other premium burger restaurants like Five Guys, you don’t get as much food for the money, burgers are a bit smaller and less fries.
With all that said, this was a good experience and we will be going back.
Instead of patty it’s like 5 JUMBO shrimps inside. Maybe 6, I’m too busy eating before counting.
I added extra lettuce and tomato, and it goes very well with the slaw and sriracha aioli. The whole thing is refreshing and perfect for a sunny warm day.
It’s only 1 dollar more than other burger, which is a steal to be honest. I’ll be back for more!
Fries are too soft and should have been crispier.
Overall ok place. Not the hype I was expecting.
And yes little pricy $50+ for two burgers, side and a drink.
Our online order sat on the counter dying for nearly five minutes while we stood there waiting for someone to help us at order pick up.
The kid’s burger was very charred. Most kids don’t want that char flavor.
The fries are generic crinkle. And they were cooked very poorly (see pic).
Worst of all, there was a purple hair on the burger. Yes, there was a food prep person with purple hair. They had a hat on but it didn’t come close to containing their hair in. So gross.
Bad first impression!
With this being said. We had ordered a kids plain hamburger with fries; a classic cheese burger; a Swiss mushroom burger and an order of sweet potato fries.
The staff was very friendly and the restaurant had limited seating but also very clean and easy to find seating. I would like to acknowledge that this location is not a fast food restaurant like McDonald’s or Burger King but yet a Burger Dinner. Meaning the food will not come out super quick, this is because each burger is made to order not in bulk like fast food locations. Now this does not mean that it took a long time either. I would say it was a decent amount of time.
The kids meal was exactly what you may expect. The Classic and Swiss Hamburgers, while made well where lacking for the amount being paid for them. Only item that was made that was lacking was the Sweet Potatoe Fries which were over cooked slightly burnet. The Cost vs Product was simply not equatable. The amount paid for just the Burger would have been adequate if it was accompanied with fries and drink. How ever this is not the case, the Sweet Potatoe fries were an additional $5.00 and the amount was equal to a medium fries at McDonald’s.
I would say if you are in the area and would like a decent burger and are like us, don’t mind paying or traveling for good food. Then this would be a great please to stop by. However when it comes to cost vs food. I would say that it is not worth the extra trip to come here. Good if in the area but not worth the trip.
I would look at your process for food preparation. It needs to be delivered hot. Not sit out. My burger was not only cold it was burnt. Please adjust your process.
Update. November 29. Tried again. My food was cold and fries undercooked as well. Did not get my Al sauce either in my order.
I live close by and yet I cannot count on you to make me a meal that I am satisfied with.
Have to reheat it all.
Service was good, Dacoda took my to-go order, she was very professional and helped me decide, we got 2 Sean’s bacon cheeseburgers, one with half tots and fries and the other with cheese fries. It came out to about $35 so about $15 per person plus tax. I think the wait was good, about 10 minutes and it was between noon and 1. Atmosphere was nice, some families and coworkers on lunch. They have a balcony too. Nice modern restaurant.
They didn’t have blue cheese though, but besides that, everything was good. The roasted garlic aioli sauce was great, the Al’s House sauce was good too if (like my wife) you don’t want the garlic. The bread and ingredients in the burgers tasted fresh. Tots and fries were good. Portion size was perfect, we are full and happy.
My wife and I liked it and we’ll definitely be back, we’re slowly going through all the burger places around Apex. Definitely stop by, it’s close to the on-ramp for 540 so pretty convenient
