I ordered the vegetarian wet burrito from the lady who waited on me at the counter. She was very attentive and personable. I ordered about 2 PM on Tuesday, February 17. The food took a while to come, but it was really delicious and I could not finish it all so I went for a walk down by the river and attempted to finish my meal and there was a chunk of chicken in it and this is a vegetarian dish, one chunk of chicken.

I ordered the steak bowl and was extremely disappointed. The steak was chewy, flavorless, and completely lacked any tenderness—honestly some of the worst I’ve had. Not a hint of proper seasoning, either. The beans and salsa tasted straight out of a package—nothing fresh or homemade about them. What’s worse is the portion was small and barely satisfying. It’s honestly sad to see food served with so little care or passion. If you’re going to charge for a meal, at least try to make it taste like real food.

The loaded tacos were delicious. The flavor was amazing and I love the guac. The restaurant is nice its kind of hidden but you can tell they are always busy with online orders. The guy in the register was very nice and attentive. Loved the environment.

I went with my husband to pick up a takeout order, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Our order took much longer than expected—over half an hour past the time we were initially given. The person handling the orders was not very courteous and didn’t seem attentive to the delay. We understand that places can get busy, but better communication and customer service would have made a big difference.

It’s was 10 minutes before they closed and we walked in here starving. I didn’t realize it was this close to closing time .. but we were still served with smiles. Alexander treated us with so much kindness and was very helpful despite our language differences. The best customer service, I mean just amazing! The place is clean. The staff is friendly. And the food was great!

During our Miami vacation, we explored Calle Ocho and sought a quick bite. The place is charming with lovely decorations in a small area. The food is decent, not the best Mexican, but satisfactory. What stood out were the generous portion sizes, offering good value, and the exceptional hospitality. The friendly server even packed us extra food!
