Very mediocre place. I don’t know where the good reviews are coming from? Chicken quesadilla was a huge disappointment. Not even the guac and green sauce could save it from being bland and flavorless. The chicken felt like store bought from Costco and the green sauce and red sauce were the worst I’ve ever had at Mexican joint. I feel bad even saying the guac was mediocre. To make things worse 2 hours before they closed they had no more carne asada and they got rid of their horchata and hibiscus beverages. I don’t want to know how those could have tasted now.

Just had a great lunch of 3 carne asada tacos and rice and beans. The rice was some of the best I’ve had in a long time! The tacos were great too! My husband is gluten free and cheese free and he also has a great lunch. We will be back, excited for this new addition to the Sisters food scene, we come through here often and needed something new.

Chulitas at The Barn in Sisters (or in Bend) is an amazing spot that you are going to want to visit ASAP. Just walking up to this place, we knew we were in for something extraordinary.
The Juices… Oh wow, these are the best juices I have ever tasted in my life! Completely forgot about juice until we tried Chulitas’ offerings, and now we’re addicted. The flavors are so vibrant and refreshing, it’s like a rush of fresh flavor in every sip. I can’t recommend their juices enough—order one without a doubt.
But Chulitas is more than just incredible juices. The food here is so delicious! The use of super fresh ingredients and fantastic flavors created a special treat. We tried dishes from across the menu, and each one left us absolutely satisfied and happy. Textures and flavors executed to perfection.
Considering the exceptional quality of the food and drinks, the prices here are an absolute steal. Love finding a locally owned business, run by hardworking individuals who pour their heart and soul into their craft. Supporting a place like this is supporting what makes Central Oregon great.

Stopped at Chulitas for some lunch, and it was the best decision ever!! The nachos were delicious and easily shareable. They also have aguas frescas and I decided to get the hibiscus drink mixed with strawberry lemonade and it was so, so good!.. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, delicious aguas frescas and amazing customer service; Chulitas is the place! 🙂

Like other reviews stated the food was very bland. The carne asada tacos were fatty and lacked flavor. Beans were cold and also flavorless. The best thing we had here was their strawberry agua fresca. Overall the area was nice and the cocktails at the Barn were delicious.

Had the Carne Asada Mulitas, and although the tortillas were delicious, the rest of the dish was lacking in spice and Heavy on the grease. I’ll be trying another item soon though.

As a local business owner, I frequent most of the spots in Sisters quite often and Chulitas is high on the weekly rotation of where I grab lunch. In fact, I don’t know what they put in those burritos and tacos, but I’m borderline criminally annoyed on the days that they’re closed and I can’t get my fix. It’s not the easiest task to find authentically delicious Mexican food in these parts, but Chulitas definitely nails it! And you’ve gotta get on that esquites. Oh my goodness that esquites…
