A Prohibition Era Eatery & Live Event Venue and Tap! Opened Originally in 2019, the transformation to what it is today began before covid. The bar closed with covid and the owner obtained the condemned building next door, three years of construction and restoration later, February 2023, We re-opened the new Market at the Tap featuring a 1920s Speakeasy theme, One side themed after the Glitz and Glamour of the 20’s era and the other side featuring the gangsters, moonshine, whiskey and the prohibition era speakeasy you would find locally. Our Menu features Farm to Table Beef, Chicken and Produce from right here in Jones County, providing our customers a better quality product filled with flavor! Hey, I have no complaints. This was one of the only restaurants open after 7pm on a fair night. Very accommodating for our group of 6 and very fast given the fact they had only two servers and it was packed. The food is top notch and diverse. Loved it.

I came for the Gluten free fish fry meal ..it was Amazing ! The Fish was Cooked perfectly , the coleslaw slaw was very good and so were the the waffle fries .It was so nice to be able to enjoy a delicious fish fry .I have missed it so much since I have had to go gluten free And this one was perfect ..My Friend had the Fish meal also , my Bf had the pulled pork mac and cheese .He loved it so much he got a to go box but ended up finishing it before we left because it was so good ! My son got the Spinach artichoke grilled cheese on a gluten free bun and said it was delicious too.the Atmosphere was very Nice and welcoming. The Staff were all very kind and the Sevice was great ! I will be back to have the Fish again before its off of the menu.

Tried the breakfast. Wasn’t great. This review is based solely on that alone as our server did fine; she was very kind. Breakfast IS new to the menu however we thiught the portions were small and a bit overpriced. The flatbread was probably the most appetizing. Nearly left my entire “meal” behind because the rice was not cooked all the way. For as long as we waited for our meals, you’d think at least the rice would have been cooked.. One biscuit with gravy is $5 – not bad. However, the biscuit was very small. If you’re really hungry, I would not suggest the breakfast. Very good Orange Juice.

Only reason I gave 4 stars was because it seemed like half the menu was labeled MP. Steaks, Seafood, etc. Which i think would scare a lot of people off of ordering those. What we did have was very good. Waitress was very nice. Food was quick. Atmosphere was interesting with it looking like the prohibition bar types. Chandeliers, etc.

Heard about this place on the radio. I think it’s criminal I haven’t been here before. The atmosphere is like a local diner mixed with a pub and stocked with the coolest people. Everyone was really nice and the service was some of the best I’ve ever had. For the food it is important to note they partner with local farmers and let me tell you, you can tell. The beef is definitely top quality. First I started with my favorite drink and got a White Russian. Did not disappoint very well balanced. I had to try two of their burgers and even though I’m in pain from eating too much it was worth it! I tried their Coalition Burger and don’t forget the peanut butter. The egg and bacon were cooked very well. I asked for a fried egg and the cook didn’t kill it which was a breath of fresh air. I got it on the Texas toast but it does come on a brioche bun normally. I also got the potato salad which was a gamble since I don’t normally like potato salad outside of Moms’ but again exceeded my expectations. For the second burger I got the squealing gangster. The aioli sent it over the top! The combination of the aioli, beef, and Canadian bacon was delicious to say the least. I may live 30 min away but I tell you what I bringing my friends here! Have so much more I NEED to try! Do yourself a favor and stop in!!!!

What a gem! This place is great! The atmosphere and decor are such a vibe. The music was also just perfect for the aesthetic too, very cool. I had the grilled tenderloin on the GF bun and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I ordered the balsalmic glazed brussels as the side and woooow those things were amazing! Pro tip- pour the extra balsalmic off the brussels on the tenderloin. So good! Everyone enjoyes their meals and our server was attentive and super friendly. We even had a quick fun chat with one of the cooks. He had us dyin laughing! All in all I give it 5/5 and cannot wait to come back!!!

We were camping at Jellystone and needed a place to get breakfast on the way out of town- this place was a fun find! A was worried the prices online were going to be outdated but was pleasantly surprised to find the breakfast and lunch prices very reasonable. The xl burrito was delicious and big enough to share! Our kids shared the a la cart waffle which I really appreciated as an option. Staff was a bit young and inexperienced but super sweet and on top of it!

The biggest issue with this place is the timing and service. We showed up about 6 on a Sunday; we waited by the host stand for about 6 minutes before we were noticed. We were informed only 2 waiters were on tonight, which is understandable and we took that into consideration.
Once we were sat we got our drink orders in – came back with the drinks and took our food order; this is where the waiting started. We ordered about 6:40 and didn’t see our server for another 20 minutes before we had to flag down for another drink.
The entire time we were waiting for our food we were never checked up on nor updated on our food; whether they forgot, kitchen was backed up, etc.
Around an hour later we went to track down the waiter to ask about our order and she said she was going to to check on it.
We finally got our food around 7:50, which is 10 minutes before closing. And they came at 2 different times, which left half the table eating and the other half waiting.
The fries and burger were lukewarm and soft. Pretty disappointing food wise too. And I have no idea what the stick thing was in the cottage pie, but there was about 4 of those total.
Also need to add that we had to track down our server yet again for the bill, and this was 15 minutes after they closed. Never addressed any issues nor communicated with us why the wait; so after 2 hours we wanted to get out of there and not wait longer to talk to a manager.
More embarrassed since we chose to take our parents there and it was our choice.
Overall, the aesthetic of the place is a cool vibe. But the service just ruined any good aspect. The waiters were on their phones half the time and chatting in corners- not checking up on tables or updating them about the status of their orders.
