OMG their Fat Tuesday specials are so flavorful. With NarLeans jazz playing, I had the cajun pasta, Brian the jambalaya. Finished with an order of fresh, hot beinet (the bread pudding looked good too). Thanks AJ, Lisa, Rick & Scooter.

Ordered up 4 fish fries for take away. While the fish was tasty… not too much breading & flaky fish… it did get soggy a bit tho in the styrofoam container… the French fries were dreadful! Cold and seemed fried multiple times so rather hard and really nothing worth eating about them… this was after my husband waited at the bar for 10 mins as they weren’t “done” when he arrived… and we were staying in an Airbnb across the street… 600 feet away so the take away didn’t travel far… the slaw was very standard… tartar standard as well… the rye bread pieces were nice. All in all, I’ve have better… so maybe try something else on the menu.

I had the pleasure of getting married at the hub and would recommend it to anyone. We got married in the tent outside and it looked like something from a magazine. The creek in the background was gorgeous and we received many compliments from the guests. The staff was incredible and easy to work with. The owner did his best to make sure everything went according to the plan and I don’t have a single regret about booking our wedding here.

I photographed a wedding at The Hub at Cedar Creek recently and have nothing but good things to say! The ceremony was set right on the river that flows on the property and it was stunning. The staff was very helpful and the food was great. I would be thrilled to capture another wedding at this venue!

We were there for the Friday Fish fry! YUMMY! Good food, gracious service, yet flustered servers trying to maintain a positive, polite attitude, even though they were really understaffed due to servers not showing. Be patient with your servers. They are/were working hard to cover irresponsible co-workers that didn’t show up for their shift. Pleasant atmosphere, clean dining room, good drinks! Good food! We will be back!

The Hub was a great wedding experience! I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The owner was around and available all day. He helped us with everything. The food was exceptional. Everyone told my husband and I what an amazing day it was. My father even stated “this was the best day I have had in a long time and the best wedding I have ever attended”. The whole day was beautiful and I couldn’t have ask for a better day. We will definitely be back!!

I wish I could say our wedding day was everything we could have asked for. The Hub is located on a beautiful property, the river view was perfect and it was a great spot for our wedding a few weeks ago.
However, we are not so pleased with some things that happened service-wise at The Hub. On our contract it states “Complete private use of our hall and grounds from 8:00 am until 1 am.” – but this is simply not true. The owner had potential clients tour the property and allowed these people to rummage through our decoration boxes the morning of the wedding. My husband stated the owner was no where to be found when they had questions and he complained that we set up the chairs and arbor a different way than he would have even after stating we could set it up however we wanted.
We had to pay $2.50 per person for linens, the owner stated he would put table cloths on tables but never told us that we would have to set up napkins, if we knew this we wouldn’t have rented them.
The owner started taking down table cloths at 9pm while pictures were being taken of the venue and was complaining about our music to our DJ even after our DJ turned it down.
The male bartender was making some absolutely disgusting comments to some of our guests. He told my now husband that he couldn’t order mixed drinks because it wasn’t covered under our open bar (we did the beer, wine, and soda package) but my husband knew this and was just trying to open a tab — to which the bartender threatened to cut him off if he didn’t order a beer.
The bartender also cut multiple people off just for simply “sitting at the bar too long”. It honestly just sounds like they were trying to money grab us for the open bar but not serve any beer or wine to any of our guests.
We really wanted this to be a place we could continue to come to even after our wedding just for the simple nostalgic value of it being our wedding venue. But we will never be back and we have a lot of unhappy guests who will not be back either.

The only reason we had a good time was because of the people that surrounded us. The venue was beautiful, but the absolutely vulgar comments that the bartender and OWNER said to wedding guests was disgusting. Not to mention that they did not even have enough food for guests for the wedding. It was a stressful night, but the people invited made it better. Will never be back, comments made to everyone invited to the wedding was disrespectful and very unprofessional. Do not recommend for any events, unless you want off hand comments & service with an attitude all night.
