Today I had a date with my son. We chose Flora Cafe for lunch. The atmosphere was smaller but clean and decorated with cute decor. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas with a mango margarita. My son had the Steak chimichanga. Our appetizer consisted of the bean dip with combo chips(flour and corn). Oh my goodness food came out piping hot! Everything was delicious. The beans and rice perfectly seasoned. The bean dip was topped with queso cheese, so yummy!Not a big drinker at all but felt my face get flushed from my drink! I will return most definitely!!!

This place is adorable and the food was absolutely amazing! I had the chimichunga con asada, it was absolutely delicious! I followed it up with the horchata ice cream that tasted like it HAD to be homemade with yummy little churros. The server was attentive and kind! 10/10, I will be going back soon!

We waited about 15 minutes just to be seated, and once we finally sat down, no one brought us menus. After another 10 minutes, we had to ask a waiter for them. No one asked if we wanted drinks, either.
After we placed our order, we waited another full hour for our food, and during that entire time our waiter never checked on us once. I started watching the staff, and several of them were just standing by the tablet talking while customers—including people who walked in after us—waited 10 minutes or more just to be greeted. I even saw multiple people walk out because they never received any help.
There were also several dirty tables that could’ve easily been cleaned right away. I checked other reviews afterward (wish I had read them before coming), and many people mentioned poor management. I fully agree—lack of proper management was very obvious and is likely the main reason the service was so bad.
When our food finally arrived, it was extremely disappointing. The rice and beans tasted like canned beans and instant rice. They were so bad I couldn’t even eat them. My mom ordered a burrito and couldn’t finish hers either. My aunt asked for salsa, and the waiter never came back—she had to get up and get it herself. It honestly felt like the waiter disappeared until it was time for us to pay which was way over priced for the lack of flavor.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We will not be returning. Hopefully they make improvements, because the service and food were very poor.

Stopped by Flora’s this morning after my morning workout. We started with the guacamole (fresh and flavorful!) and corn tortilla chips. I got the chilaquiles. You can choose red or green salsa or both! I picked both and added a protein (chorizo) it was so delicious!!! Their salsa is spicy, but also flavorful. My boyfriend got the Lonche B.L.T. which was also delicious! The perfect crispiness of the toasted bread, the milaneza and the bacon was so crunchy!!! So good. Would definitely come back again for more!

The atmosphere of this place was neat and had a good vibe. I ordered chips and queso and then the steak and chicken fajitas. The chips and queso was subpar, I would prefer to have gotten a jar of the store bought over this. Chips were stale and the queso was flavorless and had a very thick consistency. The fajitas were hot coming out of the kitchen, although getting the food fast I should have known this was a sign. The steak and chicken were also very under seasoned. I would have to say the veggies in the fajitas were the only thing that were good.

Absolutely LOVED our whole experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the cafe itself is very cute. Highly, highly recommend the asada chimichanga.

Well we seen a Tiktok on Flora Cafe in Omaha. We was greeted at the door. There was a 30-40 minute wait. We waited it out. Let’s just say it was o ly maybe 20. They were super busy. We got seated and made our order. OMG. WE WILL BE BACK! This place was super good and the flavors were unbelievable. It will be worth the drive to eat there and enjoy a nice cocktail.

I ordered the sope with beans and rice according to the picture in the menu when I received it did not come with the beans and rice so I asked our server she said that it came separately as a side order she said she would bring out side order. When I got the bill there was a charge for $3.50 for each item one for rice and the other for the beans a total of $7.00. decided not to complain about it paid the bill will not return.

However, we did have a serious issue with the service. One of my friends is allergic to sour cream, and she informed the server twice about her allergy. Despite this, the CHILAQUILES came out with sour cream on them. When we pointed it out, the server took the plate back, but instead of preparing a new one, they just scraped off the sour cream and added cheese to try and cover it up. We could still see the sour cream underneath, and if my friend had eaten it, it could have sent her to the hospital.
When we brought this up again, the server finally brought out a fresh plate, which we appreciated — but the situation should never have happened in the first place. On top of that, my CHILAQUILES came with beef even though I specifically asked for it without. While we were there, we noticed several other tables also having issues with incorrect orders.
I understand the staff might still be new, but this is exactly when customer service needs to be your top priority. I’m writing this review not to criticize harshly, but to bring your attention to what’s happening on the floor. Your food is amazing — but unless the service improves, it will be hard to build customer trust.
