I ordered Chinese food from Cathay Wok on Bridge Street and was informed that my order would take about an hour and thirty minutes due to how busy they were, which I completely understood. However, when the food finally arrived, it was cold. I called back politely and calmly to explain that I had waited a long time for my order and was disappointed to receive cold food. I simply wanted to see what kind of resolution could be offered.
Unfortunately, instead of being met with understanding, the manager and owner were very disrespectful. I was told that the situation was somehow my fault, which I found extremely unprofessional. By that point, my partner had already waited so long that he had begun eating his meal. I didn’t eat mine because I’m pregnant and don’t do well with cold food. They tried to say I already ate my food, but I took a picture to prove I have not….
All I was looking for was a peaceful and reasonable resolution, but instead I was met with arguing and dismissive behavior. This experience showed a lack of professionalism and customer service. Because of this, my partner, my family, and I will not be ordering from here again. I truly hope other customers do not have a similar experience.

Called 40 minutes before closed and asked if they were still delivering and they said yes. Ordered food and it never came waited until midnight before finally ordering from somewhere else.. food is normally pretty good I just wish they had better customer service:/

Kitchen was clean and open to watch your food being prepared. Update: May 08, 2019. I had another great lunch at Cathay Wok Today. The food was excellent, the staff was very nice and helpful.The presentation was nice. The bathroom was clean and again, you can see right into the kitchen when you order. Today I took some interior photos and pics of the delish food. If you live in Lowell, you should try Cathay Wok. The prices are right, service is fast, delivery or take out. Minutes to UMASS across from The Lowell Police Department on Bridge St.

I ordered beef fried rice and they charge extra for that when I got home to eat my beef fried rice I had no beef only fried rice and I had ordered an order of the boneless ribs and they were given to me burnt not even edible I don’t know what’s going on with this place but it’s going into the dumps I’m highly disappointed
