Came back ordered the house made tortilla chips, excellent. Also got a shredded pork and shredded beef taco, $3 each. Really like the heirloom corn, flour, butter tortilla. All by itself has a wonderful corn smell, great flavor and was still warm from being toasted on the flat griddle.
Ordered three tacos, $13.99 with rice and beans and a $1.49 up charge to make one a Carna Asada The other two were an Al Pastor and Carnitas. Excellent flavors. The street taco thickness of fresh made tortillas is pretty thin, wish there was an option to double up so the meat filling doesn’t break free. Minuscule sauce plastic containers. The sauces are bright, fresh and delicious. Parking is a challenge as this area of Garden City is a mixture of new and old houses, businesses and lots of driveways. Worth a revisit and decent value for the money. I want to try the fresh made tortillas chips, served in an oil stained brown bag, a good indication of freshly made.

Rosa is a cute little taco spot in Garden City that keeps it simple in the best way. With a small, focused menu, their al pastor tacos are the standout—juicy, flavorful, and wrapped in fresh tortillas. The horchata is smooth and refreshing, and the house-made salsas add just the right kick to every bite. Prices are fair for the quality, and the vibe is laid-back but stylish. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting, whether you’re stopping by after a bike ride on the Greenbelt or meeting friends for a casual night out.

Chips have excellent flavor, crunch, and salt level. My carnitas taco was under seasoned but the fresh tortilla was very good. These tacos are larger than a two-bite taco truck taco but otherwise the menu is similar.

El Gringo here (Spanish for “The Gringo”) with a hearty Yes for this quaint taco dive. And I mean dive with all affection and admiration. It’s a simple and low-key taco hideaway. Worthy of your attention and hard earned dollars. We were a party of four and it was “not sharing” good. I loved what I had and my selfish wife and kids wouldn’t let me taste theirs so now I have to go back. Bummer! Worth the drive. I loved the sauces too.

A new taco shop from the The Wylder group. I went for lunch on a Saturday so I expected it to be busy and there was about 20 people ahead of me in a line out the door yet within 20 minutes I already had food in my hand so the line moves pretty quick. It’s about $3.99 per taco or $14 for 3 tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were all great, the rice and beans could use some work, the rice specifically had no flavor. The bean and cheese burrito was good, good ratio of the two. I also had the frozen spicy passion fruit margarita, and for only $7.99 for that it was pretty good. They could use some outdoor seating but the inside is still pretty spacious with lots of seating and an open concept kitchen with a window view into the prep kitchen too.

We parked and immediately smelled deliciousness in the air! Service was courteous, food was fast, super fresh and delicious! The homemade tortillas were SO good. The salsas lacked any spice but had great flavor. The steak taco, al pastor taco and barbacoa tacos were all wonderful. Beans and rice were also a hit. We’ll definitely be back.

This place could be five stars, but they are very inconsistent. First time I had it, I thought it was going to be one of my new favorite tacos spots. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. My only complaint would be that it is overpriced. Second time I went tacos and everything was good, but they forgot my guacamole and chips. For how expensive they are and not wanting to drive the 20 minutes to try to get my money back it was disappointing. This last time we tried ordering. Tacos were skimpily made and way smaller than the ones I had in person, and they again forgot our guacamole and gave us a measly bag of chips. Only saving grace was DoorDash refunded us for the chips and guacamole. I would love to have this place be a favorite but for the price they are inconsistent. If you do go, go in person and make sure to double check you got everything you ordered.

I had two chicken tacos yesterday and they were delicious. Little bit of lime and their house green sauce=excellence.

Next time I’m going to get a margarita with it. Fun atmosphere and the customer service experience was very positive.

I will go there again with friends.

Got 3 skirt tacos to go in a meal with a canned drink. Then went back for the homemade horchata, tortillas and salsa. The tacos were tasty – definitely needed the salsa I bought to take home. I’m not sure what the in restaurant sauce options are. It was a little spendy. I happened to be in the neighborhood. Good customer service and very very fast and full of meat tacos. I wouldn’t come from out of town to go. 3 starts because I have a stomach ache after the tacos settled in. Id recommend trying it, maybe not buying so much like I did. (Didn’t eat my entire order, just the steak upset my stomach but I don’t think it’ll be that way for everyone.)

Must try imo!! This will be a staple in the area. It’s a little spendy for fast casual but it’s well worth it. Food is top quality, atmosphere is great, Service is awesome. They make their own tortillas. Food is ready crazy fast.

Cold brew horchata… yooo
