It was nice to go check out Raising Cane’s in Bloomington a couple weeks ago. I had only ate at Raising Cane’s twice ever so it’s nice to be reminded of how good their chicken is.
They were pretty crowded when we got there and the parking lot was a bit tight. It’s kind of only one row of parking and I drive a larger vehicle so it was difficult to pull in or even back in to the parking place. Once we finally got a parking place we went inside and placed our order. I noticed there was a lot of people that were happy and enjoying their dinner. There’s not a lot of seating inside, I’ve definitely seen pictures of bigger Canes restaurants but it seems like it could be enough if people are in and out when they’re finished eating. We didn’t have to wait very long for our food and it was all fresh and hot! I enjoy the flavor of the chicken and also the cane sauce. The fries are okay but it’d be nice to try out some seasoning on them I’m not sure if this restaurant offers something like that.
I love the art on the walls and I noticed the other two canes that I have been to have the brick wall painted with the canes logo. I love the ambience and all of the decor in the restaurant.
I’d like to say that I would come back but they’re building one in Peoria so I’ll be able to have it there next. Thanks for making my meal fresh and ready!

I’ve visited one other RC location in the past and had a very mid experience there, so my expectations were so low for this new location. Unfortunately they were not even met. There was a hair in my fry/chicken container. I ordered sweet tea but was given unsweetened, and (as expected) my chicken strips were not crispy/crunchy and definitely not hot & fresh. An all around yuck.

I wanted to give it a chance since it’s new in town, sadly disappointed. They haven’t even been open for 2 weeks and their soda machine is broken. The chicken tenders were mushy and smelled like burnt oil which made them not edible, the fries were mushy but well salted, the Texas toast was cold and soft.. the best part of the meal was the canes sauce.

With this being a new building, I wish there was a better flow for traffic, the incoming traffic blocks the exiting traffic.. thankfully the cars move through pretty quickly.

If you want great chicken with a crunch and consistency go to Pop Up!

I’m trying lunch the 2nd day they are open, it’s about 11:30am. They have some folks in the parking lot directing traffic….so that’s going pretty well. The drive thru is 2 lines moving fairly quickly. I’d say it was about 8-10 mins from the time I joined the line to the time I got my food. I had “The Box” and it was fine. Bottom sides of the fingers were a bit soft, top was crunchy. So, I’ll prolly go again.

Hot take here, but imo not all it’s cracked up to be. ITS JUST CHICKEN STRIPS. Also not a huge fan of the Cane’s sauce, I feel it tastes like sour honey mustard. Service and staff were great so I don’t want to take anything away from them. However, Canes is a hard pass for me. Chick-fil-A better on all accounts.

Ordered at the drive through. The person taking our order was very efficient and no mistakes were made. We got our food fairly quick at the window and was fresh. Our drinks had excessive ice all the way to the lid. Not sure if they are trained to give you that much ice but it seems excessive and the drink doesn’t last as long. The fries are basic crinkle cut (nothing special)
chicken tenders were quality and fresh but my personal opinion lacks spices and flavor in the breading. Coleslaw did have alot of flavor as well. I will say the garlic bread was really good! Overall our experience was fair to good. Slightly over rated in my opinion.

First time eating at Raising Cane’s. I was after the lunch rush, food was still hot and crispy. I did think I was a tad pricey, but everything is pricey these days.

We went on a day that it was super cold, and just had our first snow of the winter. Upon arrival we saw Caitlin (cash) working hard outside, bringing in the patio dining chairs. She asked us right as we entered if she could bring a highchair to our table for our little one. She then came in and helped with orders behind the counters. She kept herself busy the entire time we were there by asking to take plates of others when finished, spot cleaning, checking on customers, ect… it was great to see such kind service. Everything there was ran smoothly and the chicken was great!

Great tasting chicken and the toast has a good seasoning on it that makes the meal even better! Service is fast and right off Veterans Parkway for an easy in and out food stop!

Just about everything besides the food was great. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. But the food presentation? Not so much. They place food in styrofoam containers—and not just any food, but HOT food. My chicken strips had actually melted a part of the container, which was pretty unsettling. And it wasn’t just my tray—my girl’s had the same issue. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re wondering if you’re gonna consume some 50/50 styrofoam-chicken blend. Had to spit out my chicken and throw out the meal.
