Food was really fast and ready to pickup in 20 minutes. The portions were super generous, I did find it funny the calzone was literally a pizza folded in half, tastes good regardless. Wish the marinara was hot, staff was super friendly.
5 stars for taste and speed, overall 3 stars since they weren’t wearing masks for whatever reason.

Update 8/22: the people at this shop make it hard for me to not keep coming back, they’re always so nice. The pizza was really good last time I went and I’d suggest checking them out.
I was a long time customer of express pizza and embarrassingly would order from them like 3 or more times a month a few years ago. Now that I’m back in town I decided to order my fav and I must say I’m very disappointed. I ordered 6 wings but only got 3, also got the gyro platter and the bread was tough to bite off and chew and the cucumber sauce was a weird consistency and didn’t taste very good, the fries were good however. I paid around $23 and I’m just upset I feel I didn’t get what I paid for. It hurts my heart to give you guys 3 stars because everyone there is so nice and the food use to be top tier in this area but if I was to rate the food I got today i would have only given 1 stars.. I really hope today was just a one off thing! I didn’t plan to write a review so I didn’t take photos of the food before hand but I hope next time I order it’s better and I will change this review. My order was on a Thursday evening for delivery around 8pm.

The best pizza in Pittsburgh. It’s the only place I order from since about 2 years ago when I first discovered them. I always get a pepperoni pizza, but my family tends to get a lot of things from wings, hoagies, gyros, fries w/ cheese, chicken tenders. Their food is great at a decent price and they are always friendly. 100% satisfied every time. Don’t listen to the idiots with 1 star, I read a lot of them and most of them are from grub hub messing up the orders. This place deserves more recognition #bestpizzainpgh

My first time trying this and I thought the breadsticks were Ah-MAZE-INGGG!!! There sauce is unique; not sweet,not salty, it’s just right! and not acidy like some others! The Italian hoagie reminds me of old school bar hoagies with the fresh bread that has a crunch, it’s soft in the center but not soggy give them a try you will not be disappointed!

I’m a big fan of italian strombolis, calzones, & hoagies. I’ve given all of yours a chance. I don’t get why you’re so scared of whole slices of meat. My hoagie the other night had 2 thin slices of meat ALL lettuce and onions. Tonight my calzone.. chopped ham and I think? Salami. Cmon guys! Italian meats! These make me sad. I hope nobody’s nonni from italy orders from you one night. She’ll be after everybody with a wooden spoon.

My Brother in law Frank introduced us to this place which is 3 minutes from our house. I always wanted to stop and get a menu but time always gets in the way. My wife and I were sick so Frank stopped and got us a pizza! It was unbelievable! The following weekend we ordered a gyro, steak hoagie and pizza. Their food is unbelievable and the service is excellent! Excellent and a must try! Highly Recommend!

Ordered from here trying to find a new favorite pizza place and it was a disaster! Ordered late after getting home from working late, didn’t have time to cook. Thought I would have some pizza ordered for my children, and when it was delivered, it was burnt on a bottle on top of the crust was crunchy and it was nothing we could do with the pizza but throw it away. I called They told me they can give me a refund which they never did and then they also told me They could not make me a new pizza because they was closed. I will never order from this place again.
