Me and my girlfriend we went to happy Dragon for our first time to try out the food. It was the orange chicken and fried rice and chow mein. I recommend not going there because I tried it when I got home next thing you know chicken has no flavor rice and chow mein didn’t have no flavor tasted old. I didn’t like it felt like vomiting when I was eating it. I do not recommend going there. I regret wasting my last $30 on that bullshit. It says happy dragon, but I say it as unsatisfactory dragon because it was a horrible place to go to.

There was a metal shaving in our sesame chicken.
The food tasted “squishy”
The shrimp wasn’t firm.
The sesame chicken was squishy. Think like chewing cod instead of chicken.
The steamed rice was stale.
Altogether, it was bad.
I wouldn’t go again.

My normal go to is China garden sadly they are closed on Mondays so decided to try this place out worst mistake I ever made I ordered the almond chicken the almonds tasted rancid the rice smelled as if it was turning already and the next day I had the runs. Be careful the atmosphere looks sketchy the food was disgusting. Customer service was ok but I literally spent 60 dollars and threw it away it was that bad.

Very short wait time for amazing food, cooked by a woman that you can very much tell loves what she’s doing.
The atmosphere is welcoming too, very quiet and the owner’s family (mostly the daughter) adds to that. Would 100% reccomend going to at least once.

Mu husband & I ordered 2 fried garlic chicken combo plates & some cream cheese wontons. You know how sometimes you order garlic chicken & it just ends up tasting like orange chicken?? NOT the case here! The garlic chicken was crispy with a little spice to it & full of garlic! The fried rice & chow mein is fresh and very flavorful. Cheese wontons were great as well. Really enjoyed my string bean prawns, fried rice & chow mein combo plate I ordered the other night. Also two egg rolls, very yummy!! Only $14 wow! so affordable for the amount of food you get. I finished it for lunch next day.

The food made me sick. Once again we have another half fast, bland and oily restaurant in Modesto that continues to prove to us that we can make better meals at home using cereal. The rice is dry and crunchy, the noodles are saturated with oil and the fried chicken barley has any chicken. It’s like I was eating chips.

Walked in and the restaurant and it smelt weird. Like chemicals and cleaning items. The food was flavorless and disgusting. We got orange chicken that had NO FLAVOR. We also got chicken in garlic sauce.. smelt absolutely disgusting and had no taste.. WITH GARLIC… there was nothing. We threw it away. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS CHINESE RESTAURANT!!!!!

Rice and chow mein is mediocre and somewhat bland. However, the egg foo yung is some of the best I’ve had. Pricing is alright. Service is terrible. The woman working there is generally not very polite or friendly. I was willing to ignore that, but today when my grandfather commented on the poor service she mocked him. Judging by other reviews, some have had some drastically different experiences, while others have had similar experiences. Come at your own risk.
