I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet because we’ve been coming here for at least 8 years. It is the most authentic Japanese food in Bend and it’s so comforting and homey. This is our favorite place to get food in the whole town. Everything is made fresh and arranged so carefully and with thought, and balanced with tiny bits of veggies and radish pickle. We almost always do take out because the restaurant is open for lunch, and it’s a work day lunch for us. However, there are a few counter seats inside and a picnic table outside. Arigato gozaimasu, Yuki and team, for taking such good care of us all these years! We are fans forever!

I really enjoyed the fresh food and excellent service here. What a great find in bend. Small cozy area with a few seats to eat in. Bento box came with fresh ingredients and plenty of food. Prices are a little high, but justified for the quality. The food/service/price of this place is clearly much more upscale than the location/atmosphere. I will definitely return anytime I’m in the mood for a good bento box, or takeout Japanese food on the Eastside.

So good. It’s one of our top 10 favorites in Bend. Everything we have tried is good but we especially like the curry special and the onigiri. I wish it was closer to where we live but any time I am in that area I try to remember to hit Bend-o-Bento.

Stopped by for the first time. I got the Katsu chicken. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I’ll definitely be stopping by for more in the near future.

Had the tofu steak bento and miso soup, both were incredible! I’m only in Bend for a month, but I already know I’ll have to return here at least one more time to try some more of the menu. Service was excellent too!

Amazing. And the staff accommodated my wagamama tastebuds by making me a katsu bowl instead of a bento box!
The katsu was made perfectly, with the chicken juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside and perfectly light-golden breaded.

Great food, great and simple service, and an all around enjoyable experience! The bento boxes are served with a variety of flavors and textures but each is quite satisfactory. I’ll definitely visit this adorable “hidden treasure” again soon.
