We had such a great experience at Green Leaf. The place is clean, cozy, and has a really nice atmosphere. It just feels comfortable as soon as you walk in.
Lina and Nene are so so nice. Their service is really good and they are very polite and welcoming. Lina as a supervisor is honestly the best, she’s attentive, friendly, and really makes the experience even better.
And the food was sooo good. Everything we ordered was 10 out of 10. Plus, we got a complimentary crème brûlée, which was such a sweet touch. We truly enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back.

I haven’t been to theor other locations since both are far from the city center, so I was excited to hear they opened one in Collingwood. You can tell the restaurants used to be a KBBQ spot based on the vents still installed above the tables. The place was clean and the servers were attentive.

We ordered the Aburi Platter, Salmon Sashimi, and the Agedashi Tofu. The Aburi Platter was good, but wasnt expecting the pieces to be so small considering the platter costs $65. Taste wise everything we ordered was quite good. Was hoping to try some uni times but they were sold out for the week.

Overall a decent experience.

We saw the 4.4 rating and decided to have dinner here. However, the food quality did not live up to the rating. We ordered a Green Leaf ER combo. The tuna sashimi was not fresh at all. The color had already turned brown, which is a clear sign of poor quality. It also had a strong fishy taste. I did not expect premium quality for a $25 platter, but I have never encountered a Japanese sushi restaurant that would serve sashimi in this condition. It should never have been served and should have been discarded immediately.

Booked a table for 11 of us to celebrate a birthday. First time here for all of us except my wife, shes been here for lunch couple months ago.

Its nice to go in a big group so we could try lots of the items on their menu. Presentation and quality was good . Only problem is their picture menu had no price! We ordered what we felt was good, but as the food came out, we realized we need order extra 1 or 2 portions of it. Felt like we were eating at a buffet .

Overall it was good, they gave us a nice private room in the back corner of restaurant. Didnt expect a good restaurant inside the old Ramada Inn.

My brother suggest to come to this sushi restaurant as he has tried it before with his family and has rave reviews so we decided to come here for his birthday lunch.

The restaurant is part of the hotel (not connected) and I believe it was previously a northern Chinese hot pot restaurant. Inside the restaurant was very nice, relaxing and spacious.

We ordered quite a few things:
– Beef Yaki Udon (stir pan fried beef udon) — flavoured well but not a lot to share
– Salmon Tataki Salad (flame seared salmon, greens, garlic chip, yuzu ponzu) — cool and refreshing.
– Aburi Platter (6 kinds of signature aburi oshi – atlantic salmon oshi, ebi oshi, saba oshi, yukke tuna oshi, hotate oshi & tobiko roll) — out of this world … highly recommend ordering this platter as each sushi was delicious!
– OMG Roll (spicy mayo & wasabi sauce, deep fried roll with prawn, salmon tempura, crabmeat) — huge sushi as you can see from the size of my hand. A great deal for this sushi.
– Kimchi Bacon Ishiyaki (Kimchi & bacon, tamago in hot stone bowl) — spicy as it has a good kick to it and tasted great.
– Mentraiko Cream Linguine (shrimp, mushroom, creamy sauce with cod roe) — very creamy and yummy with umami flavours … kids would love this dish.

Overall all the dishes were delicious and my family loved it. The service was excellent as they were very attentive to our needs. Will definitely come back here again in the future. Thank you for the great experience!

The service is good, and the food look good. But the menu is very different with the Burnaby location. No omelette rice. The unagi oshi is like baby size and it doesn’t taste good, can’t taste the unagi. We ordered the same at Burnaby location and that one was good. Noodle is okay.

I’ve been to two other branches of Greenleaf and this one is as good as the others! The salmon aburi, mentai linguini and tornado rice all still hits. They also have a current promo of $5 tonkatsu add on with the order of select dishes. Best value aburi place in the neighborhood. Exceptional service as well.

Had a good lunch at Green Leaf Sushi. Price point is affordable for what you get. Unlike a lot of sushi restaurants, they don’t have proper roll combos, but instead focus on their sashimi and nigiri sushi, and oshi. I had their Chashu Ramen and Yam Roll combo ($17.99). Good value for the cost! It’s a dine-in special. The chashu slices were tender and had a perfect amount of fat. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the yuzu citrus broth in the ramen, and thought it left too much of a tart aftertaste. It was light though, a nice contrast to the meat. My friend said they’ve had larger cuts of hamachi at other restaurants (in the Hamachi Don), but the fish did have a pleasant taste.

Service is requested through a manual button at each table, to which staff promptly respond for tea refills, etc. Friendly staff! Clean, modern ambiance inside. Would return to try other items, including their aburi platter, which is best shared between 4.

The aburi platter is the main attraction here. The rice bowls were okay. Fairly large restaurant located in the hotel. If you have a group of 8-10 ask for the Secret Garden area so it’s a bit more private.
The servers were awesome, came over fairly quickly and got us what we asked for after we pressed the button on our table. Good work!
