Great simple tacos. Ordered the 3 tacos amd got 2 chicken with soft shells and 1 bean with crispy shell. Highly recommend. Quick service amd friendly. Inside is a little quirky but fun. Definitely will go again the next time I am in the area. (I could have taken a better photo).

I ordered a taco special for two which included 6 tacos, 2 sides and two cokes. I ordered the chicken tacos and the tortillas were crispy right on point; the chicken was very delicious they actually season it. My side was a half beans and half rice bowl. the meal is very filling and for only $25 its a deal! The only thing missing would be an option for a spicy salsa. The service there is excellent as well it was my first time there and Dave at the counter was super friendly and told me about the specials . Which was great! he noticed it was my first time there and made it easy for me to place an order. It was an excellent experience and I will definitely be going back.

A little disappointed in the customer service from the owner. My boyfriend and I dine out a lot. We not big eaters so we like to share. We vw been in here a few times. Well today after taking my order the owner rudely made the remark “sharing a meal again”. Thought that was very rude and none of his business. I was in awe! Won’t be back. They also don’t offer complimentary water.

I was hesitant on ordering from here because I remember Mexican Inn. But after finishing their fried crispy beef tacos, cheese tacos, rice and beans, I can say I will be a repeat customer. The food is very good and filling.

The owner is a ridiculous human, will purposely make your time difficult if he doesn’t like how you order, often closes down early. If he’s not around, it’s a cool place with good food.

So this is my first time here, these are the same people that owned the Mexican inn in South Chicago a place I used to go with my grandmother when I was a boy. Same food delicious! The owner was very cordial with the sweetheart Grandma style cook in the back who reminded me of my own grandmother. Great atmosphere here they do not serve liquor yet but they do have plenty of beers and they even serve the old school Mexican Coca-Cola that has the real sugar in it. This is a definite must see come check it out right on the corner easy access

Omg! Takes me back to my younger years! Tacos just like I remember and the soft cheese is pure heaven!! A little pricey but it’s expensive to travel back in time to that kind of yummy deliciousness!! Well worth the price to treat yourself!!

I use to go to Mexican Inn when I was a little girl even when the place closed I would still drive by with my son to show him the best Mexican food around. My husband saw a post on Facebook talking about a place in Whiting that opened up and was the same family that owned Mexican Inn. He took me there today! I couldn’t believe that it tasted the same as it did when I was little. Brings back great memories when our whole family would get together there. Everyone was really friendly at The Taco Dive . I definitely recommend going me and my brother would always eat soft cheese.

I had an amazing experience at Taco Dive! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The crispy beef tacos were absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. But what really made my visit special was the service. Rose, our server, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations from the menu. Her genuine hospitality made our meal even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back for more tacos and to see Rose! Highly recommend Taco Dive for anyone craving incredible food and top-notch service.

Not worth the money. It’s way overpriced. You have to pay for water. $2 a bottle and $5 for the smallest basket of chips. If you want more that’s another $5! Ridiculous.
