Was in the mood for sushi/rolls so I decided to try this place for the first time. GF doesn’t like sushi so I picked up something else for her nearby. I ordered the Boston Bay Roll to try and I was NOT disappointed. I picked the GF food up first and ran in to pick up my sushi roll, I was greeted by friendly staff as they had my order waiting and I quickly exited the door drooling in anticipation. Probably should of gotten a speeding ticket trying to rush home to try this goodness. The roll was excellent and fresh, leaving me with the “crap I should of ordered more” feeling. Well, tomorrow is that day again. I already have TWO rolls in the cart this time waiting for me to hit the “order” button. If things change tomorrow I will add to this review but I now have high hopes and the drooling is starting 24 hours away in anticipation again!

Ordered a Spicy Salmon Roll to go because I wanted to try Yummy Sushi after seeing many good reviews, and I’m very happy that I did. The Spicy Salmon Roll was very good, not too spicy, and the taste was amazing. The staff seemed very friendly and greeted me as I walked in the door. Definitely give this place a shot if you like Sushi.

My husband and I had a fantastic first-time experience! I ordered the chicken hibachi, and he got the spicy roll combo, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place; it’s definitely worth the trip!

Always a great experience each time we go. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. They are always there to greet us and make sure we are happy. My son loves to watch them make the sushi rolls and loves the juice in the glass bottle. It’s nice they have other little things you can buy while you are there as well. Just over all a great place to get some Yummy Sushi

I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality and prep time the last two times I have ordered from here. Towards the end of Wasabi’s time here, they started reducing portion size little by little, to the point where you got very little of each ingredient. After they became Yummy Sushi, I didn’t feel like it was much better. Even as recently as a year ago, I wasn’t all that impressed. Because of this, I generally drive to North Olmsted to get my sushi, only stopping at Yummy when I don’t have time to do otherwise. I’m not sure what changed, but the food is much better now. The portion size and distribution of ingredients in each roll is much better. The ingredients are fresh and the rolls aren’t falling apart. There isn’t just a tiny sliver of fish in each roll. Sushi is never inexpensive. Cheap sushi is generally not good sushi. However, if you spend the money, it’s nice to expect something that tastes good, looks good, has fresh ingredients, doesn’t take an hour to make, and is comparable in size to other sushi restaurants. Yummy Sushi is now achieving that.

Great place locals need to try. I don’t like Sushi, but wife said it was fantastic. She ordered 3 different rolls & enjoyed all of them. They had a large selection of non Sushi items including hibachi, steak, chicken and pork. The steak hibachi was delicious with tender steak & perfectly seasoned vegetables that were cooked but not soggy. Clean place, good service. Will definitely be eating there again!

Sushi was fresh and good quality. I enjoyed the buckeye roll and Dragon roll; both were really good! Seaweed salad, Kani salad, and steamed dumplings were excellent appetizers to share with my hubby! Sushi rolls were made fresh to order and we got a few so it took just a short wait time for them to be prepared– it was totally worth it!!

The sushi here is pretty fresh and really good. It’s probably my favorite “fast sushi” place I have been to. It doesn’t have the huge extensive menu like a proper Japanese Shushi restaurant. But it’s probably my favorite sushi place to eat. Quick, easy, great quality of sushi, and a great value! Prices are good.

What a lovely hidden gem in Elyria! Today I ordered takeout from this location and I was very happy with my experience. They took my order and got my food to me very fast. Their prices are quite reasonable as well. The tuna is delicious and has a perfect texture. I highly recommend their crazy girl roll if you are into spicy food. It is phenomenal. Their atmosphere was also very bright and cute. I couldn’t stop looking at their colorful murals and artwork while I was waiting for my food. I was so surprised when the chef walked my order over to where I was waiting. I could not be happier with how he packaged my order and how he took the time and care to give me everything I would need. He made sure to include my chopsticks, napkins, soy sauce and a little cup for the soy sauce as well. I was absolutely delighted. I will definitely be back with my family when we get a chance.
