Update on Jan 24, 2026. I reported it to customer service department. It has now been about 6 months. After inquiring for over 7 times, I still have not received any update on my refund request. They told me it is typical to take over 6 months to process a refund request.

I came to sonic because I wanted a vanilla ice cream cone and onions rings. My husband wanted a smash burger, fries and sprite.
I was informed they don’t have any smash burger meat so we had to order a regular burger, they were out of onion rings and they no longer offer ice cream cones.
So I adjusted and said I would share fries with my husband and order a turtle blast with whip cream and a cherry. For my husband we got a double sonic burger and just added the smash sauce trying to at least have that taste.
Fries were chewy and greasy almost like they double dipped them in the grease to rewarm them after they sat for too long. We each ate 2 pieces and threw the rest away, burger was not good I tried one bite and said gross, The ice cream was good but I didn’t get the whip cream or cherry as I requested and the sprite was perfect. The staff was nice.

One car in drive thru, one other car at a carhop station, plus me at another at 11:30am on a Saturday morning. Pressed button to order. After waiting 10 mins for someone to answer, we left. Parking lot also smelled. Such a shame.

Just moved in the area. First time at the local sonic. Ordered 2 double smash burgers, 2 6pc mozzarella sticks, EXTRA marinara, a sweet tea and a kids meal. I live 10 mins out of city limits. First off the bat my tea is unsweet, it’s okay whatever I just stopped somewhere else and got a drink. Got home, no marina sauce, great. Took a few bites of my burger no smasher sauce, just pickle and cheese. My husbands is the same way.I take another few bites and thought it tasted weird and a little slimey, took a better look at it in the light and it’s not even cooked. My husbands was also half gone and way undercooked I didn’t even call to complain. They had 2 chances and messed up all 3. Praying for no food poisoning. 0/10 would not recommend eating here to ANYONE. Ive got a picture of my burger too, it just won’t let me post pictures on here for some reason. $35 wasted

The service is slow but reliable, the atmosphere less good than it was a few years ago, but the food noticeably improved from Sonic’s dry and distasteful old menu. Drinks are great, but a friend had a disturbing experience when he ordered a chocolate milkshake. He literally had to chuck the thing after inspecting it. Smash burger is good, but staff repeatedly changes. Decent.

My food was delicious, everything was hot and fresh! The staff is super encouraging and interact with the customers so well. I came today because of the TikTok i saw with Darius and Aleah!! the atmosphere looks so friendly and fun! I would chose this sonic over all of the Sonic’s I’ve been too. Great place overall. Will be back soon
