We were just passing through and are so glad we stopped here! When we entered, we were greeted by the staff (owner? She was super friendly and warm) as well as a friendly local. The people and the nice, relaxing atmosphere made it a comfy and cozy experience. My partner had one of the best grilled cheeses (with crab), I had some excellent seafood chowder with house-smoked salmon, and we split a really great salad. The portions are pretty good size, but the taste and quality are what make this place a great value and must-stop! (We forgot to take a picture of the food but the empty plates are the evidence of a great meal!)

I got the T-Bone Lamb with yams and turnips. Excellent use of seasonal ingredients.
I’d recommend this spot if you’re tired of basic and expensive pub seafood options. To me this was much more worth the price.

If you are visiting in the Tillamook Bay Area, Bay City Kitchen is a must stop for dinner. Derek and Kathy are the owners, they have an amazing food experience waiting for you. They are just delightful. Their Sunday menu is a 3 course fixed menu and other days full menu which varies depending on what is in season. Fish is local fresh! Excellent wine options domestic and international. A million dollar sunset view over the bay adds to the allure of this location. Reservations recommended, outside seating if weather is good. Easy drive from Tillamook, Garibaldi or Rockaway.

We recently came to Bay City Kitchen for the first time and it for sure will not be the last! The staff were delightful, the food delicious (a life changing salad!) and the vibe was cozy and warm on a winter’s eve. I really appreciate the seasonal menu offerings and local ingredients- a real gem of a place on the North coast!

This is a hidden fine dining spot, a bit unusual for the Oregon coast. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of food. Amazingly priced and a wonderful use of ingredients together that I wouldn’t normally think of. Highly recommend, especially the Sunday three-course dinner!
My only suggestion is the apricot almond tort was very dry – either change recipe or it was old/sitting out and dried out 🙁

One of the best meals I’ve had all the ingredients are fresh and cooked perfectly. The Sunday supper was well worth the price and I can’t complain about the portion sizes. Everything from the service to the food is wonderful it’s a must try.
