This is, without question, the best pizza I have ever ate – it’s all about the secret sauce. We used to travel to Sioux City just for this pizza. We recently tried it in Vermillion, and it is just as good as in Sioux City. It’s obvious by other comments that they are working some staffing issues out, but please be patient, and remember that they did just open. This pizza is worth the wait.

The pizza was delicious and the jumbo was indeed jumbo. I would say that it is fairly priced, but there are much more toppings on the pizza compared to say Domino’s.
The sauce is pretty tangy, not what I was expecting but not complaining either. I prefer sliced mushrooms compared to the diced that were on it, still tasty nonetheless though. This was my first time ordering and will definitely be ordering again from here next time I want pizza.
One star removed due to bacon being forgotten which shouldn’t be that difficult on a 3 topping pizza.

Came with my boyfriend for a lunch date on our day off. We were the only ones there for 90% of our visit. The server, I don’t remember her name, was one of the nicest servers I’ve ever had in Vermilion. Great entrees, and the churro cheesecake was by far one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had. I would go back just to eat that cheesecake, and I’m picky with my cheesecakes. Little pricy for the whole meal, but it’s Italian so I’d rather pay a little more for it! I had the Cajun Alfredo with shrimp and it was so good. The garlic bread is so good, I’d order a whole plate of it for a meal haha. My boyfriend had a build your own calzone and he said it was delicious

I’ve been a huge fan of the original El Fredos Pizza in Sioux City so when I saw they were opening one in Vermillion I knew I had to try it! I’m usually a fan of the pepperoni pizza with original sauce but since it was just me on my lunch break and I happened to be working in Vermillion that week I opted for the meatball sub with original sauce. I was not disappointed! The sub was super delicious and everything I love about El Fredos Pizza I still haven’t found a better pizza place in all my travels even when I tried Giodornos in Chicago, El Fredos still beat it! If you are passing through Vermillion make sure you take a moment to stop and try out El Fredos there!

I really have nothing bad to say about this place! The food is always amazing, the staff is friendly and the environment is a kind of farm-chic-industrial-cheeky dècor. Our go-to’s are the Ragin’ Cajun pasta (we often split this between two people, portions are large!) and the Sausage and Peppers. I guess I wish there were more gluten free options, but having worked in a restaurant, I understand it’s not always so feasible, so I don’t fault them for that. This is one of our favorite places and will continue to be for the foreseeable future!

Selection was excellent. Pizza and spaghetti were top notch. Our server was super nice – attentive but not intrusive. Food arrived quickly. Most seating occupied but space was not loud. Not inexpensive but noot too spendy. Great dinner experience!

The crust had that great blend of crispy and chewy. The toppings and cheese were good. The sauce was unlike any pizza I can recall having before. Sort of sweet, with a bit of spice to it.
I got the All American, my daughter got cheese pizza, and my wife had baked spaghetti. Everyone liked their meal.
The price I thought was a little on the high side but the food and service were good.
It’s not a pizza I would get all the time, but it’s a little different and it was good. If I’m ever in town again I’d consider stopping here.

Only 1 star because I had to in order to leave a review. I stopped in for lunch with my 5 kids, my oldest is 10. I figured this would be a reasonable place to bring my kids to have a fast, lunch before we headed home. What a mistake! They would not let my kids drink from their water bottles. The server wanted me to buy 6 drinks and made a big deal that they could not use their water bottles. I ordered a jumbo pizza. We sat there quenched waiting way too long for one pizza. When the pizza finally came it was so spicy the kids couldn’t eat it without a drink. I didn’t mind it that much but the kids couldn’t eat it without a drink. Then I get the check and on top of the price, I was charged extra for using my debit card, plus a $5 gratuity charge, so one pizza cost me $30. I’m literally appalled. I will never come back here nor do I recommend this place to anyone with kids. The server Ryan was very accommodating to his other table of adults but not me with a 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10 year old. Mb that’s what I get for eating in a college town idk. I’d rather have gone to get fast food then come here any day. And we obviously will not be coming back.
