I am all about some good bbq and especially local family restaurants I just love! You can definitely tell that the owners care a lot about meeting customers needs. If I had to describe in one word how the food tasted it would be **Deliciousness** every bite was so good. Definitely some good brisket. The corn was so creamy and had great flavor as the beans did as well. And I have got to say they portions are great a lot of places you don’t get what you pay for but to me this is enough and more! Great place to dine in friendly and welcoming! We got take out, it was great food. It was very fast only like 15mins tops and we had our food. I barely got a picture of the food before my boyfriend and I dug in cause the smell on the car ride home was just so good. thank you

We randomly stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and had a really great experience. The owner and family clearly care very much about providing top notch service and food to their guests. Everything we ate was delicious. Their handmade pickles were amazing and we really enjoyed the brisket as well! Next time we will try the brisket quesadillas. They were sold out today so clearly a popular option! Definitely go here!

Oh my goodness! I was skeptical of some of the rave reviews but it definitely lived up to them…I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was definitely the best burger I’ve ever had in Wise County and better than most places in the Metroplex. It was seasoned to perfection, the bacon crispy, real cheese and a perfect size. French Fries were also perfectly seasoned and crisp. Husband had two meat combo with sides. The brisket was tender and flavorful…Okra was so good! We will definitely be coming back again! Hoping they stay consistent because we loved it. We can’t wait to try other menu items and the buffet the owners were telling us about. By the way they were so nice and you can tell they know good food!!

First and foremost, let me say these people are very good down to earth kind hearted people! The salt of the earth! Very hard-working, thoughtful people! It’s rare to find hooks for your bag in the bathroom and a toilet seat that encourages little ones to not fall in! If you think they’re thoughtful in the bathroom, just wait till you try the food! The best brisket I have purchased in Texas! The cook is humble and will deny it was him, but we see you! Great experience! oh and the best part they love dogs!

Stopped at this spot back on my way to Dallas. Ribs and brisket were so tender and flavorful and I ordered a side of potato salad and the fried okra were delicious! Definitely house made. The service was also really good very personable owners do yourself a favor and make a pit stop.

If you’re looking for true Texas-style barbecue done right, this place is a gem. Everything here tastes fresh and made with care. The brisket is tender and perfectly moist, the sausage has that just-right smoky snap, and the burgers and smash burgers are absolutely delicious.
Their sides are all made from scratch. The potato salad and pasta salad taste are full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. And the barbecue sauces? Unreal. They make several varieties from scratch, and each one has its own character — from tangy to sweet to spicy — all of them fantastic.
You can tell this place takes pride in everything they serve. Great food, great people, and consistently excellent barbecue. Definitely worth the drive

Had a wonderful lunch here while we were passing through the country!! Everything was delicious.. from the brisket to the mushroom burger!! Wonderful friendly owner and staff!! Wish we lived closer, would become a regular! One of the better restaurant finds while traveling! Yes.. as per previous review, still dreaming of the burger!

My husband ordered the grilled onion cheese burger & let me tell you it looked amazing! It was gorgeous! The guy that works there told us that they make their own patties. My husband was satisfied with taste! I ordered the steak fingers, it was a bit greasy but the taste was amazing! The fries had so much flavor. The gravy was absolutely my favorite. The restaurant was nice there was a good crowd of happy ppl enjoying their meals having good small town conversations. It is the place to be! Price was $25 for both of us. The ice tea was country style delicious!

I felt like I was having lunch with family. every table there was involved in conversation while eating some of the best home cooking you will find outside of Grandma’s kitchen.

Beware: if you eat their burgers, no burger will ever taste good to you again… I’m a burger addict, and now they’ve all been ruined because this place has The Best Burgers ever!!! We went on Easter Sunday and basically tried everything beef on the menu … and the carrot cake cupcakes … I don’t even like carrot cake and I had two because they were amazing! Thank you for your hospitality and thanks both of y’all for the amazing meal. We’ll be back again and again for sure.
