A very nice local coffee shop. Its very warm and inviting. The coffee and pastries are next level. They also have some other food items like chicken tamales, which are delicious!!! I try to avoid the chain coffee spots as much as possible, and this is the perfect escape from them!!

Nice pastries paired with great coffee! I love getting a latte here then just walking around the area and enjoying what it has to offer. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and I have always enjoyed the coffee that I get there. They have some fun and quirky signs, and the staff are friendly! A great alternative to some of the bigger local chains, while still keeping its local charm.

Nice little place to get breakfast! Bean, the business Yorkie, greeted me at the door and sat with me while I drank my coffee. Word to the wise…don’t mess with Bean while he’s sleeping…even if he’s on your lap…

The owner is incredibly rude. She buys everything for the cafe at Safeway. meat, cheese and bagels everything you could think of. She would treat me like I was less then her And would complain to my mangers and Bring up in a pretentious way that she owns a business in Aptos so she should be treated with the most respect. She’s in her 70s way too grown to be acting like a mean girl.

Came here after reading the reviews and this place did not disappoint. The breakfast burrito (w/ ham) was delicious, as is the salsa that accompanied it, too. Coffee (dark roast) was perfect. Great place. Great atmosphere. Locals frequent this place often, which says a lot. Friendly environment and budget friendly.

Hate to throw down that 3 star on food but I’m honest to a fault and gotta keep it real. I will start with the positives as I’m habitually optimistic. The coffee was delicious! Hot, strong and robust with light and dark roast options. The Almond bear claw was FIRE! Straight up phenomenal
The breakfast croissant had so much promises but it missed the mark on every front unfortunately. Burnt ham, flat moist croissant, inedible egg microwaved into oblivion. Probably just over cooked it a couple minutes but dang if it wasn’t disappointing. Crazy part, I’d order it again to see…

Espresso tastes burnt. Mediocre service. Croissant bad and 5$. Lemon cake not good. Sneaky charge 25cents for cups with no house cup alternative. Mistake to come here.

I’ve lived in Aptos for more than 40 years, & I never knew this place was here! But with prices through the roof at most coffee chains – I am happily surprised to have found this GEM. Service is out of this world, they have a beautiful selection of teas! The prices are fair, & the coffee is good! It’s strong enough, & I am so happy to have found this place! I will be going back often – already have been back 3 times since I found it this month 7/2024!! So stoked, check it out!

Hands down best coffee and food in SC! Any where in the area for that matter. Their Kona coffee is the best, all kinds of fresh delicious pastries, açaí bowls, salmon bagels, breakfast burritos, all coffee specialty drinks. Sandwiched between three major coffee giants. Support your local small businesses!

Hilarious that reviewers thought that this was a burrito. I have to second a previous commenter who said it was the worst burrito they had ever had, and that there were huge chunks of uncooked ham inside. I don’t remember if there was cheese, but I’m pretty sure there was and it wasn’t melted which is a big no-go for me. Great service. No complaints about the coffee. Waaaack burritos.
