Traveling across North Alabama and we were ready for breakfast. Definitely not in the mood for fast food so we looked up restaurants and found this great little place. The service was good. Food was clean and fresh and served quickly. We had veggie omelet and eggs with biscuit and gravy, hash brown’s and toast. The gravy is the only thing i would improve on but it wasn’t terrible and Everything else was really good. It was a nice choice and experience and we love supporting small business. The price was less than $20 for 2 plates which is good. The bathrooms were clean and we’ll definitely be stopping here when traveling through from now on.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. We were passing through on our way to a wedding, and this diner didn’t disappoint. We both had an omelette and it was hearty and delicious. The coffee was hot! The owner was funny and feisty and the waitresses were kind and attentive.
Expect to settle in for a while to wait on your made-to-order meal. We left feeling more like family than a customer!

I was looking at rental property in the area and stopped in for a bite to eat. They had open wifi, but I wasn’t able to sign in. I asked waitress why I wasn’t able to use it. She said sometimes it works and sometimes not. I had already ordered a plate of hash browns that were overcooked. I stepped up to the counter and asked owner (debbie) why I wasn’t able to sign in to their open wifi? She got real smart. Said that wifi was a luxury thats only avaliable to locals. She was quite rude and extremely loud. I did pay for the hash browns, but I’ll never go back to that clanish cluck house again! Paid $9.00 for overcooked food and bad customer service!

What a great find!! Cute little diner with fresh delicious food and super friendly attentive staff. Really clean and a place you can have a quick meal or sit and chat for a while. We had the ham & cheese omelet with scattered hash browns (onions, tomato’s & green peppers). Also had the Western Omelet with scattered hash browns as well. Try it, y’all will love it!!

This was a great diner find! Thanks to faithful reviewers, I took a small detour from my occasional trip to Unclaimed Baggage for a quick breakfast. The food was all great and reasonably priced. Service was good. They were hustling.
The biscuits were SO GOOD! My daughter said maybe the best she’s ever had, and I felt the same.
The atmosphere was “Authentic”. With a name like Gear Jammers, you’d expect them to value truck drivers and they do – with a discount from 10-2! They also value veterans.

Decided to try it when passing through based on it’s high rating. Waited for 45 minutes for our food. The eggs and bacon weren’t cooked like I had asked for and the pancakes were the worst I’ve ever had. Lesson learned.
