I truly believe the cook was doing his best with what he had. However, what he had wasn’t good. Pretty sure the oil he cooked in was old. The fish wasn’t bad but it wasn’t cooked in good oil. It gave me horrible reflux and it didn’t stay down.
The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. It’s an old dive bar so if that’s your style this is your place.

It’s been several years since I ate there. The service was unbelievably slow. One customer came in and waited 5 minutes while the bartender had her back to him. He finally left. There were only 7 people in the bar area and 6 in the dining room. The food was horrible! Ordered nachos and the chips were grease soaked. Beans and rice was dry. Cheese was from a can. My sons order wasn’t even right. Why go out to eat when you can get better food faster at home? This place used to have good food and service.

This place is a lost gem! The owners are hard-working people. Every time I come in the people are friendly and the place is clean. They hosted a car show a couple of years back and I loved buying a drink and hot dog and walking through the cars. Hopefully, they do more stuff like that in the coming years.

My husband and I decided to try their breakfast on a Saturday morning… I wasn’t sure what to expect but my skillet was delicious! Everything was very fresh and cooked perfectly! Our server/bartender, Heather was awesome!

Went on a Sat night hoping for a quick dinner but there wasn’t any wait staff available and no cook- apparently because it was BINGO night ! Seriously! Had to go to the bar and ask for our drinks- needless to say we left and went to another establishment. No food except appetizers yet no Cook Staff- worst place I’ve ever been !

I rented the banquet hall for my wedding reception. The walls of the dance floor were in poor condition. The owner was back there the whole time, touching our food with his bare hands. It was rented until 9pm and at 7:30 the owner started cleaning up causing guests to leave before everything was over. Taking tables down and throwing away peoples plates and drinks. We didn’t get to do a bouquet toss, dollar dance or the garter toss because everyone left. They thought the event was over because the owner, Ralph, started tearing everything down. I am not happy and I will never do business here again. Thanks for ruining my wedding reception.

Little hole in the wall. Live this place. Have never had the food but they sell a lot if it and it smells good! Fun, friendly crowd and the KJ Renee from Melody’s R Us ROCKS! Good drink selection and prices!
