This place is sooo freaking good. I was so impressed by the flavor of everything. They take a little while to serve your food, but that’s because it’s made fresh every order. It’s worth the wait when everything is so on point. The shrimp empanadas with the peach colored sauce was my favorite part, so warm & satisfying. Definitely going back to try some of everything!

But Please don’t order pupusas here. It’s not their specialty. (Maybe stick to mariacos..??) i didn’t eat my pupusas as it was settling bad on my stomach. I was surprised how large they were and they were super doughy, especially the “crust part”. To be fair, I got a Salvadoran dish in a Mexican restaurant . It was my bad I didn’t realize this beforehand, but I’ve been on the road for 5 hours and wanted some pupusas so I did a quick google ..
It’s also feels like an old tias house. It’s hot and no ventilation. Didn’t even turn on their AC or fan. Primer impacto playing in the background. It’s a whole tias house aesthetic but without the pupusa making experience.
$5 per “pupusa”. They also charge for water since it’s bottled. No refills. I was so thirsty, but I didn’t want to keep ordering a new bottle.

Just an update May 2023, this place changed. It needs cleaning, and the food is lacking taste. The staff isn’t as friendly and feels cold. O well.

Definitely a must try the food was pretty outstanding but the most impressive thing was that the waiter and the cook served me even after the place was about to close and they did it with such willingness, friendliness add great customer service. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be stopping here

So glad we stopped here on our drive up north! The sopes were LARGE and delicious, the shrimp taco was the best I’ve had in years. The handmade tortillas are worth the additional nominal charge, and service was excellent. Highly recommended!
