Went to get a sub tonight Ft long spicy Italian toaster with provolone with allot of onions little bit lettuce toasted oil and vinegar and a sweet tea. The sweet tea wasn’t even made it was water opted for a bottle of starry instead as doing this they gave finished my sandwich no cheese on it at all and omg 4 slices of pepperoni and 3 of salami. Who taught these people how to do this? I worked for subway for along time years ago. And I’ll never go to the one in Scotia on mohawk ave again

Put in an online order. Walk into an empty subway and don’t see my food on the rack. I find the 2 employees chatting and giggling in the back and give them my name. They tell me the were out of the meat for my sub and never bothered to call me. I ask for a refund because at this point I’m just pissed and they tell me it’ll take 2 weeks to get my money back. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

1 of 2 local locations that still takes coupons. Unfortunately, professionalism & consistency are NOT employee requirements for the Mohawk Ave. Subway in Scotia. On multiple occasions, I have gone at or shortly after 9:00am (listed opening time), and the door has been locked. Not once has anyone ever answered the phone either.

I can’t gripe on how the sandwich is made when I watch it happen. I often come after work and the door is locked at 9pm. Couple of times the employee was there saying we’re closed. Do you close at 9pm or 10pm? I believe the staff is choosing closing time each night.

Let us start off by saying, do not go to the 24 hour subway that is located in the same town.

Now that we have that out of the way, this is the BEST subway we have ever visited.

Centrally located in beautiful downtown Scotia NY, (vape city USA[we saw one vape shop on the way in]) this turn of the century brick building was clad in the enticing vintage subway yellow awning. With exclusive parking in a private lot (picture included) it was a short stroll to the entrance.
On our quick but enjoyable walk, we were surrounded by the lustful aroma which penetrated our olfactory senses. The air was pregnant with the scent of high quality bread, cold cuts, and fresh produce. Upon entering this sactuary of sandwiches a multisensory bombardment of magnificent meats, celestial cheeses, pristine produce and blissfull bread encapsulated in a warm and inviting atmosphere whet the appetite for what was to come.

The team of beautiful savy sandwich artists greeted us promptly and professionally with smiles and good tidings. Shepherding us with grace and elegance through the voluminous menu options, our journey to lunch paradise had truly commenced. With deft precision the framework of our sandwiches was laid down. As our sandwich artists retrieved the perfectly baked bread from the oven, a choir of angels extolled the fluffy interior delicately contrasted with the crisp crust of the loaf. As the hearty stack of meat was laid down we knew that soon our vicious pangs of hunger would soon cease. After the scrumptious cheese was placed atop the meats, the most esoteric of questions was directed towards us, “do you want this toasted?” We froze, the question spawned a nearly infinite number of possibilities: heaven or hell? Fire or ice? Alpha or omega? Toasted or untoasted? As if the voice of God was speaking through me, the word escaped my lips “toasted”

With a level of focus that surpassed a chess grandmaster, we stood transfixed on the oven. Our souls swooned softly as the cheese rose up, bubbled and fell like the tumultuous surface of the sun, leaving us in a state of utter euphoria. Promptly, the second most important question of our lives need to be answered, “what do you want on this?” Panic shot through us like a lightning bolt. The heavens parted, and ethereal beams of light illuminated the visceral vegetation, we spoke, “lettuce and tomato please”, politeness is the highest virtue. A shower of of ranch soon followed. The masterpiece was complete, the only remaining step was to experience the glorious deliverance of a smiling god through this ambrosial morsel.

Sitting on a chic train station style bench we took a bite. The nanosecond the treat touched our tongues we boarded a chariot destined for the heavens. Upon our arrival to heaven, we saw the universe and the universe saw us. Our taste buds exploded only to reveal new levels of pleasure. Upon regaining consciousness, we were blessed with another bite this one surpassing the first. This cyclical experience can only be equated to the bhuddist model of reincarnation. As we took our last bite, we noticed a new member of our party, the Buddha himself was levitating cross-legged above the cash register. He said nothing but a voice in my head reverberated “welcome my child, to nirvana”

We asked him, “Nirvana is a subway in Scotia New York?”

The Buddha locked eyes with each of us and all the knowledge of the universe replied,

“yes”

A mountain of banana peppers and doused with dressing that made the bread soggy. Unbelievable and unacceptable. Inedible

I could not find an owners name or contact information for this particular Subway, however I must say that the young women who work and run that small subway need to be protected at all costs. They are the sweetest, most kind young women I’ve encountered in this tough job in a very long time. When I had my bistro I prayed for these young people. To the owner, give these four young women a raise, do not lose them and treat them right. They keep your place clean, the service is exceptional and they have true customer service. I’ve even witnessed their empathy and humanity toward a limited member of our community, they show him kindness and respect, they give him a place to rest and be treated humanely and with friendship. I’m not a huge fan of faster type foods, but I will always patronize this shop and primarily for the young women who run the shop.
