Looks like it used to be a pizzeria or Italian restaurant as the mural is still up.
It’s a small corner place. And because it’s a corner place there is no street parking outside. We were able to able to get a parking spot in front of someone’s house.
The people are nice but they seem a little lost. We had to ask for menus 2x. We got a bottle of water without asking for it. Then it took a bit to order as they focused on the customers already eatting next to us and the takeout/pickup orders.
Once we ordered, it took a bit to get our food.
Mango Lassi – was in a small paper cup, but I guess that explained the $2 or $3 price. It was sour… Hubby thought it went bad.
Butter Chicken – really good dish, spicier than I wanted, ordered mild. But so good!
Shrimp Curry – was good
Parsi Patrani Macchi – I thought I ordered this but looked like we got Paplet Whole Fry. The owners came out and told me it was indeed what I ordered. Unfortunately regardless of what they gave us, it was so salty that I felt my blood pressure skyrocket after 1 bite. The other chef came out and tasted it and said that is perfect, that it’s a very traditional dish. I would have loved to enjoy it, but that was too much salt! They were nice enough to take it off our bill. I was sad, I couldn’t enjoy it.
Garlic/Chili Naan – smallest piece of naan ever! Guess that explains why it was only $2.99.

We are from out of state and wanted authentic Indian curry and looked up the reviews and said it was like a home cooked meal very authentic and flavorful. The reviews did not disappoint. The staff was very welcoming and nice attended to our every need. A must place to eat. Our stomachs are satisfied. Highly recommend!!

I went to try spicy bites and in my honest opinion the food was amazing the chicken was well cooked and the flavors were just too good. The biryani was my fav because not many places cook it well but this restaurant did and I loved it. It was seasoned well and was spice which I liked. My overall experience with this restaurant has been pleasing and I would recommend it all my friends!

Where we love is home – home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts …..being in US what I miss the most is Food…. After visiting this place I am delighted and can say I have found a Home away from home… delicious food, amazing hospitality and lovely people

Amazing power 3. Place, food and people. Loved every bite of the food. Well cooked authentic taste indian food, with perfect balance of spice. Its not easy to keep authenticity of indian food in America, but the Ranas does it well. The decor is great and so are the people.
We arrived late with my family and parents. But they waited for us and gave us the time to enjoy food, even well passed their closing time. If you are in the area dont miss them. You will love the warmt of the food and the people.

The food at this location is SO delicious. The ingredients taste so fresh, the spices and flavors dance on your tongue and the food comes out HOT which I love Sending love from Atlanta Georgia! I will definitely be returning when I come back to Jersey!

Y’all gotta eat here, this spot is the real deal. All the food ranging from Indo Chinese to starters are so flavorful. I recently came back from a trip from Mumbai and this place is just as good as the top spots there. I loved the spices they added to the matla chicken.
