I have had many of the dishes here, but most recently I have had a beef taco salad and an Azteca combo dinner (two cheese enchiladas with queso, one tamale covered in chili and rice and beans). The food is pretty decent here. I gave 4 stars because I don’t feel like anything makes it head and shoulders about the other Mexican restaurants in the area. Service was good. They do have a hotter salsa for the chips that you can request. It is actually very hot. Atmosphere is nice. I would recommend to others.

The food is honestly pretty good, but the service has always been an issue for me. We get the same waitress every time, and no matter how nice we are, she’s never very friendly and usually forgets at least one thing we’ve asked for. It’s really disappointing because we enjoy coming here. Maybe things will change, maybe they won’t. Obviously, it hasn’t bothered me enough to stop coming, but this past week she took our order and we never saw her again.

We have eaten here multiple times and the food is always excellent, staff has always seemed indifferent, we ended up eating at off time like 3pm and they acted put out. This last time the staff was rude instead of indifferent. Order came out wrong, waitresses argued that is what it’s suppose to be, we got a menu to show what it said and then we asked about the missing tamale that came with it and the lady said they were out, saying “we gave you that instead.” Save your money there are two other Mexican restaurants in Waldron.
