Workers were a little….idk what word to even put here so you can just put CYO superlative. But the breakfast tacos were GOOD, eggs cooked perfectly and delicious tortillas!! Plus a fun assortment of salsa. I would go back once a week if I had one in my city.

Fantastic tacos and consistently great quality. Everything tasted fresh, the tortillas were warm, and the fillings were flavorful without being greasy. The salsas were a highlight—lots of options with great spice and flavor.

Taco Deli on 3rd & Congress is like the Whole Foods version of tacos — clean, fresh, and making you feel healthier even if you just ate three. It’s not Torchys-level chaos with wild combos like “deep-fried brisket lava explosion,” but hey, simplicity slaps sometimes. You’re paying about $4–5 a taco. The staff are absolute angels. Fast and friendly. It’s an Austin classic taco location, not flashy, not Instagram thirsty, just quietly, consistently good. Like that one friend who doesn’t party hard but always shows up with Advil the next morning.

The service was horrible! The person who took our order rushed us and seemed bothered. When we asked questions, she just said whatever you want. The tacodeli bowl was 50% beans and bland. The shrimposito was sad. It lacked anything. The price was definitely not matching the food we received. Would not come again.

Amazing little taco place in the middle of downtown!! Tacos, cheese dip and margaritas were all amazing!! The taste and attention to combing flavors together is wry well done! Highly recommend!! P.S. stay away from the habanero salsa unless you want it HOT!!!

You can throw a rock in downtown Austin and find a place selling tacos. While there are some great tacos downtown, Taco Deli highlights a different type of Mexican cuisine that is refreshing if you are looking for something different than Asada or Pastor. My go-tos are Space Cowboy for lunch and The Otto for breakfast.

Great place I give it a 5 out of 5. Excellent, quick service and great food quick. I had the shrimpocito taco meal and had some organic tea with it and everything was awesome! I ate my whole meal nothing left over. The chips and queso was amazing and though the cheese was not super hot, it never clumped up, a mystery or miracle, you decide. Highly recommend!
