We had such an amazing wine experience at Dot’s Fine Wine and Craft in Ball Ground GA. The wine selection is outstanding, very friendly and super knowledgeable team. The monthly wine club will introduce interesting wine, and the beer selection is also deep. Great place to relax and start your weekend. My score a 5.0.

Walked in Dots little less than a year ago never have drank a glass of wine in my life. The owners and staff were kind, friendly and slowly educated me through tastings and discussions. Todd and Cindy are experienced and knowledgeable business owners and know how to take care of people. It feels like a family there and I have made many friendships.
Could not recommend them highly enough. If you’re ever in Ball Ground you should give them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently moved to town and was thrilled to see downtown had a wine store. I was absolutely blown away by my experience here. The Thursday wine tasting was fabulous! I was able to sit outside and Cindy and Todd walked me through everything! Cindy was so warm, friendly and attentive and Todd is an encyclopedia of knowledge on wine and took the time to walk me through each one including their history, origin and what food they’d pair best with. They are a wealth of knowledge on wine and encourage you try different wines outside of your comfort zone. The ambiance was amazing and everyone was so friendly! I cannot wait to come back and immediately joined the wine club. Thank you Cindy and Todd for making a Midwest girl feel so welcome, can’t wait to come back and see you all soon!

We love this place! Todd and Cindy are wonderful, thoughtful people and make us feel welcome whenever we drop in. They remember what we like and make great recommendations. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Ball Ground. If you are local, I recommend becoming a regular.

We had the BEST experience at Dots Wine Bar in Ball Ground for a girls’ day with a group of 10! From the moment we walked in, Tod and Cindy made us feel so welcome with their warmth and extensive wine knowledge. The wines were absolutely incredible, and the charcuterie board was abundant and perfectly paired. We all left with at least 2-3 bottles each—proof of how much we loved everything! If you’re looking for a cozy, inviting spot with amazing wine and great hospitality, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place – my favorite way to spend Thursday night is doing a tasting with Cindy and Todd and learning from them. They are both incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly and fun. Cellar Saturday is fun too, I get to try something that I’d most likely never buy on my own.
Todd and Cindy have truly built something incredible for the community. I have come in with my Kindle to read and relax, and I’ve also come in and made fast friends with other people in town I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet before. If you care about supporting local business and your community, come support Dot’s!
PS – I’m a wine, not a beer drinker, but you can get a rotating assortment of both wine AND craft beer by the growler.

Dots is OPEN! So excited to have a new shop downtown! I’m not much of a wine drinker, BUT, they have a great selection of craft beers that I haven’t found elsewhere (and I have reviewed 405 unique beers on Untapped!). Wonderful little seating area in the back and a cool new deck! Check them out!
