Domi Sushi is the best sushi around; food is great and service is exceptional! The staff Jamie and Alex always welcomes us like family. I’ve never had a bad experience. The dishes come out not only delicious but beautiful! This restaurant is on point. I also love that it is BYOB!

My friends and I had the pleasure of having Jamie, the owner, as our waitress. She was nothing but kind, attentive, and very accommodating to the fact that we didn’t know exactly how to order. In fact, she pointed out a combo meal to save us money over ordering individual items. She even gave us some special sushi to try on the house! The atmosphere is warm, the staff is friendly and inviting, and my friends and I cannot wait to return! Highly recommend.

First time trying Dami Sushi and I really enjoyed it! I ordered the Sushi Deluxe, which was plenty for two people. The rice was seasoned just right, fish was fresh, and I loved that scallop was included in the set (not something you usually see).

The set also lets you pick one special roll—I went with the spider roll. Flavor was great, but the rice was too packed and kind of fell apart like a block. Not a deal breaker, just a bit disappointing.

The kani salad was really nice too—different from the usual cucumber-heavy ones. This one had lots of lettuce, which gave it a fresh, crisp bite.

Overall, very good experience. I’ll definitely order again and would like to dine in next time.

I am an avid sushi lover, and this place has some of the BEST sushi I have ever had! The fish is fresh, the combinations of the special roll ingredients are incredible, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy. Not to mention the owners and staff are SO kind and welcoming! Shoutout to Jaime!! If you are thinking of coming here, do it!! You will not regret it 🙂

I’m honestly baffled by the 4.9-star rating here, because what was served does not match that reputation in any meaningful way.

Starting with the chirashi bowl: the tuna looked unnatural — overly saturated, uniformly magenta, dense, and completely lacking the natural grain and translucency fresh tuna should have. It did not resemble fresh-cut fish in either appearance or texture and raised immediate concerns about quality. Anyone familiar with sashimi would recognize that this is not how tuna is supposed to look.

The fish-to-rice ratio was extremely unbalanced. The bowl was padded with rice, garnish, and fillers (seaweed salad, shredded daikon, imitation crab), while the actual sashimi was sliced paper-thin and laid flat to give the illusion of portion. This is not generous plating — it’s camouflage.

Several pieces of lighter fish appeared matte and dry rather than glossy, suggesting age or improper storage. The cuts themselves were inconsistent and poorly executed, which points to speed and cost-cutting rather than care or skill.

The bento box followed the same pattern: a large rice compartment, overcooked and dry bulgogi, minimal protein, and side items used to bulk up the box. Nothing tasted fresh or thoughtfully prepared.

Toward the end of the meal, we were given two pieces of sushi “on the house.” While appreciated in theory, it felt less like hospitality and more like an attempt to compensate for an already disappointing experience. Unfortunately, a couple of complimentary pieces do not make up for systemic issues with food quality and execution.

After the meal, both of us experienced stomach discomfort and felt unwell. While I can’t say definitively what caused it, it was concerning enough to reinforce that something about this food was not right.

What’s also troubling is that we later learned this restaurant offers an AYCE (all-you-can-eat) option, yet this was never mentioned or explained by our server. We were not informed of the option at any point, which raises concerns about transparency and whether customers are being steered toward higher-priced à la carte orders without full disclosure.

What makes this especially frustrating is that the photos attached show exactly what was served. This wasn’t a one-off mistake — it appears to be a consistent quality and transparency problem that does not align with the restaurant’s public reputation.

For a place rated this highly, the food quality, portioning, and execution are simply unacceptable. If you care about freshness, value, or honest service, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
