Stopped in for breakfast with my wife. This place makes homemade tortillas. They had menudo and much much more. I had the chilaquiles and the chorizo breakfast. It was delicious and will be back for again!

The best tamales we’ve ever had! I stopped in for some of their grab and go breakfast burritos and picked up a bunch of chicken tamales as well. Thank you so much. You are a blessing to our community.

I visited Las Americas a little while ago, and Alex was the one who helped me. He took the time to walk me through the menu, and I truly appreciated his friendliness, patience, and genuine willingness to help. I went back today with my husband, and the older gentleman working was just as welcoming.
You can also tell that the two women preparing the dishes in the back are absolute powerhouses — fast, skilled, and turning out food that is incredibly delicious and authentically made. The whole place has a warm, inviting atmosphere that means a lot to me, especially coming from a culture where hospitality and friendliness are just a natural way of life. Experiencing that same openness here in the Midwest is something I really value.
My husband is from China, and he can sometimes feel nervous going into new places because of cultural differences. Restaurants like this help him feel comfortable, welcomed, and more connected. And while Mexican food isn’t part of my own Colombian background, I deeply appreciate being around other Latino/Hispanic people who share that same sense of warmth and hospitality.
The food was absolutely amazing, the service was wonderful, and the overall experience was something I truly appreciated. Highly recommend! ❤️

Love the food all of it is good I personally get the “Llovos rancheros” it phenomenal. Staff very friendly and will suggest something delicious if you’re unsure of what you want. Strongly recommend using allot of the red sauce very good not to spicy. There’s also tamales and enchiladas you can take home and cook at home. Check them out.

This is a little relatively unknown place on 2nd Avenue. Very clean, friendly staff, Alec was our server with exceptional service, wide variety menu. The food is just okay, not seasoned well-quite bland.
They offer strawberry and regular margaritas which were very very strong!
So happy to try a different type restaurant but wasn’t our favorite.

My wife had the carne asada street tacos and a tamale while I had the fajitas beef. We also had the chips, salsa, and cheese. The food was very good. The service was good and the inside of the restaurant was clean and better than I expected. The cheese with the chips was really good nacho cheese. The chips are thick and I image made here. We will definitely be back. Give this place a try I don’t think you will regret it

This is a great, authentic, Mexican Restaurant and Grocery in Kearney. I’m not sure what one of the other reviewers were talking about with a lack of spice because we had Chili Verde and Enchiladas Mexicanas which were both spiced wonderfully! The Enchiladas were almost a little too spicy for me, and I tend to love my spice! Great service and friendly folks. We’ll be back!

Best Mexican restaurant in Kearney, hands down. Food is authentic, large portions, and affordable. The tamales are the best I’ve ever eaten, too. Highly recommended.
