First time visit was great! Staff was very nice and hospitable. Food was very good! The dining area was nice and clean. Food portions were fair size and good deals on beer and wine for happy hour. Whenever we return from San Diego we’ll be sure to stop in again.

Parking,which is the fault of the landlords was inefficient to say the least. By increasing the angle of parking the way they have for this entire complex, they have eliminated an additional 20% of parking space.

The food was good overall. The kids’ chicken nuggets were surprisingly really good.
If you go, definitely sign up for the rewards app right away. It offered some really nice deals, and you get a free baklava for joining, which is a very nice thing!
The only real downside is the price; it felt very overpriced compared to the portions. But the great service makes us more likely to come back.

First time coming here for lunch. I’m still searching for my ‘go to’ for gyros. After asking a few questions about their menu, I settled on trying the gyros platter with basmati rice, and lentil soup. The fountain drinks are Coca-Cola products; and a few other soft drinks like tea and lemonade. The soup came, and they purée the lentils. It was nice. Nothing special. Very quickly my platter arrived. The rice is seasoned and cooked very nicely. The meat was good, but lacked the char which is applied once cut from the spit. No slices of onion, or tomato. The tzatziki sauce was fine; yet a bit creamier than I’m accustomed to. If you order the sandwich I’m told they use red onions. I’m not a fan of red onions. They have a stronger taste, and can kill one’s palate. The restaurant is adequate size to accommodate parties of four. It’s clean, and has booth and table seating. They do serve wine and beer. Parking is free, and is on the street side main entrance. There’s additional parking in the back for the mall. Restrooms are clean and well kept. I believe in May they’ll be celebrating their one year anniversary. My check came to $21+change. There’s an added 3% charge if paying with a card.

I ordered the falafel pita with extra tzatziki and fries through Grubhub. The fries were very cold. I had to reheat them in the air fryer. The pita sandwich was a mess. The falafel were overcooked and way too spicy and salty. The veggies were thrown on as an afterthought and not evenly distributed. The tzatziki was like water. It had no flavor. I will not be reordering from the Pita Kitchen.

My wife and I love Pita Kitchen. We first ordered through Postmates and the food was so fresh and flavorful that we came in to dine and had an even better experience. The chicken shawarma, chicken kabobs, and gyro meat were all delicious, the service was great, and the rice is so good we recommend getting extra. The strawberry lemonade was excellent too. Highly recommend if you want quality Mediterranean food in Surprise.

The food is always so tasty but my number one favorite is that Lentil Soup, literally ordered 2 bowls last time! You have to try it. The beef or steak Kabobs are not what I expected as they were ground hamburger but dont let that dissuade you. They were amazing tasting! And the veggies, dont get me started, so much taste and goodness! And I usually hardly eat veggies. Great food!

Have come to this place countless times since they open. Came to this place 5 minutes before closing. I know what I asked for and they gave me the wrong order. Came back the next day and they said it was my fault because that’s the type of meat I order. I asked for regular chicken not this. They also didn’t put any lettuce on my food: The manager didn’t even offer to fix my order or refund. Bad experience and they lost a customer.

I moved to surprise a week ago & a friend recommended this place. The staff was friendly & the place was clean. Unfortunately my $20 gyro plate wasn’t very good. The meat was flavorless & the rice hard & over seasoned or something. I would love to give them another try but not at $20. Like another person said sign up for rewards. I didn’t even know they had rewards until I heard them telling 2 women….
