I came with one mission: to have a childhood sushi I haven’t had in years: masago and quail egg. Many sushi places can’t serve it because they don’t keep quail egg in stock.

I sat alone at the bar, which was very quiet, but had a great atmosphere. The sushi chef in front of me watched over the staff like a hawk to make sure when I needed something that I was taken care of ASAP (I assume a perk of the bar) .

I started with a Sapporo beer with the sushi I came for and the chef made it perfectly. It’s a strange combination to many, but to me it reminds me of home. I’m giving 5 stars because of the care this chef put into my sushi. I would recommend solely on his experience.

I ordered the sashimi deluxe which I originally thought 24 pieces for 30$ might feel like a ripoff, but was pleasantly surprised with how full I felt at the end.

For dessert, I ordered both the Yokan (jelly) and the fried green ice cream specifically for this review since I didn’t see any pictures of them. The jelly was definitely interesting and unlike anything I’ve ordered before. The green tea ice cream was just as expected.

I would recommend coming alone or with one other person, but I noticed that groups of four have a great time ordering sushi boats for a decent price between 70-100$ which is pretty good for long island at this time.

Definitely coming again!

Edit: Came again and ordered much more this time, added pictures! It was even better the second time.

Hadn’t eaten here in a long time. The food is always so good. Love the miso soup and their sesame dressing on the salad and usually have the negamaki. So tasty!

First time coming here. We had a great time. The atmosphere was lovely felt like I was in Japan lol and very clean. I loved how the sushi all came out on one plate. Will definitely be coming back.

The food was good NOT excellent but good . It’s a small place and it was empty which was a plus because you get a nice private setting. The staff was very very slowed they ignored us more for more than 10 minutes when we first came in. I️ asked questions regarding some of the dishes which I was not familiar with but the girl who helped me was LOST.
Overall not a bad place but would not go there again

First time here. The waiter suggested an alternative meal and then made a substitution for my Bento Box. For its size, there is pleanty of seating including stools at the sushi bar. There is parking next door where they share space with a small mall.

QUALITY ALWAYS! Family run business that I have loved and supported for many years. The Tuna Cado is amazing.

Never seen a chicken tempura roll look like this… it was basically microwaved. Even the eel sauce is dried up…avocado has black spots. Very questionable sushi. Never had a bad experience with sushi before so it’s disappointing.

My husband & I visited Hana a few months ago & were pleasantly surprised. We decided to stay home on New Year’s Eve & order Sushi from Hana as our regular Sushi Restaurant is permanently closed. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
The Sashimi Deluxe Dinner consisted of 24 small pieces of fish placed in a plastic pan without rice. There was only 1 container of soup, although we ordered 2 dinners which were supposed to come with soup. The soup’s container was not properly closed, it spilled in the bag on the way home. We ordered 2 Korean Pancakes, but only got 1. When I picked the food up, the waitress seemed confused about which was my order & showed me a piece of paper with scribbled handwriting I could not read, to verify the order. The only thing I could make out was Chirashi, which was one of the dishes on the order I placed. The note did not have my name on it.
The Chirashi was cramped in a small plastic container & the quality was mediocre. The dinners came with a house salad, which was a small container of chopped greens. We also had a veriety of appetizers which were very small portions.
To sum it up, it was definitely not worth $95.00 and we did not get an itemized receipt, therefore we ate unable to check what we were chargef for.
Hana might be a decent Sushi place to visit, but my advice is, Do Not order take-out.

Tuna and Philly roll were okay. Nothing to write home about, but not bad. Miso was lack luster. Green tea was passay, I’ve had better at home.
Good sized portions though.
