Beautiful decor, really nicely done. Separate upstairs space presumably for private parties too. Service was polite but a little scatty. At times we were forgotten. No one mentioned there were no carbs included with adult mains and we might want some rice or some such! Tom Kha was tasty but missed depth of umami flavour I’ve had in other places…a little more lime and lemongrass for sure! Main was a little sweet for me, but possibly that would have been balanced by aforementioned rice! Children’s food was good value and spot on. We were even more delighted to find it was free since it was school holidays. Good wine selection and we enjoyed a nice glass each, again fairly priced.

Outstanding! We visited in a large group on a busy Friday night. The staff were attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and perfectly paced. We were sat upstairs which I always prefer, love this place.

We were a group of seven that visited this restaurant last night. We were a late booking at 9.30. Although I appreciate it was a late booking, it was done in advance and was accepted on the booking system. However, from the moment we arrived, we honestly felt like we were an inconvenience. The food was lovely, as always, but the service was just awful, not slow, but miserable, cold and tense. Not a welcoming smile or polite conversation from a single member of staff. On arrival, we were met by a manager who was visibly stressed and unwelcoming. We asked politely if there was room for one more, to which she abruptly said no. We said that absolutely fine, but before we could say anything else, she marched off, and managed to find us a table and organised additional cutlery, etc. This was appreciated and we thanked her multiple times but no smile, no welcoming words, nothing. The food came out quick which was good, but the atmosphere was uncomfortable. It was like they had a pre-conceived notion in their heads that we were some rowdy group spilling in from the pubs for a late night snack, it was very strange. The fact is that five of the seven were on soft drinks and we ate quickly and efficiently. We were served by multiple people and like I say, we were not met by a smile once. I met one of them on the stairs on route to the toilets and again, no eye contact and a stony face. She literally served my meal ten minutes before! We are all local but I can say that none of us will be eating here again. If you do not like later bookings, do not allow them on your website. The food is delicious but the culture & behaviour of the staff needs sorting out.

Showed up here for lunch. Place was a bit dead to start but quickly started to fill. The lunch deal is great value. Delicious food and great service. Entrees were on the spicy side for my mum and wife, but I enjoyed the challenge.

I came here for my partners birthday dinner and he received a free drink which was nice. The waitresses were very help, my only complaint is I ordered an egg fried rice which seemed reheated or over cooked so was very hard. I let the waitress know and it was changed for a coconut rice which was appreciated.

Awful greeting at the door, really cold, first thing she says is you need to order in the next 10 minutes. Just felt very abrupt for the first greeting. Asked about the lunch menu as was before 3pm and states on website this runs between 12pm-3pm Wednesday to Saturday however told no as it’s December, again with a cold tone. Walks off to sit at the laptop at the bar. Unfortunately due to this decided we won’t be spending our money and time in what felt like a hostile atmosphere with some weird pressure to get our order in quickly without even being asked what we may want to drink or just some common courtesy! Train your staff to do better, she clearly felt like she knew it all. When we left no acknowledgement by her just a bitter stare on the way out! Went to the lounge instead to be greeted by super friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere!

Having been to the Poole restaurant we expected similar but sadly we were disappointed. Food excellent. Ambivalent attitude to our arrival. Staff mistook efficiency for service. Everything was rushed. Ambience of a canteen/Pizza Express could be improved by more dividers between tables. Discretionary tip declined and server didn’t ask why or whether things were alright.
Needs improvement before we return.

The food is fabulous. Nice selection of cocktails at sensible prices, really well presented too. The menu choice is good, not lots of pages of random dishes, but a good selection of great Thai dishes.
My only minor negative is the tables for 2 are very small, so when you order multiple dishes and wine that had to sit in a cooler on your table you have very little room left.
We will visit again for sure…
