Bouncer/bartender has no knowledge of real or fake id. They stole my real ID and I had to call the police to get it back. No explanation. No proof it was fake. He just took it and told me to leave. The police got it back bc it was actually real. Get ur shit together. Dont know how many other real IDs they stole. Don’t trust the bouncer/bartender. Regular bouncer knows his shit. Good when it’s slower, Hell when it’s busy. Has the only pinball table in downtown! Great bartenders and cheap drinks. No food other than peanuts and popcorn, but you can always order some in from Pagliai’s across the street.

EDIT: Years later and now my favorite bar downtown! It still has good pinball machines, two now.

Popular College Bar at Night when they turn the Music up nice and loud. Calm & Chill Atmosphere during the Day. Staff is Professional and the Owner is not a Bad Guy. Worst Mankato bar I ever went to. Had a bouncer grab me so tight on my arm, leaving finger print bruises, because he thought I didn’t pay for my beer. Bartender handed me the beer and I left cash on the bar. When I went to the police for assault charges, they told me I couldn’t do anything because it was a he said she said situation, despite the fact that I had finger print shaped bruises on my arm.

The entire bar smells like a fart. My boyfriend went to the bathroom, which he very much regretted (and this is a guy who isn’t bothered by much). Ordered beers. I told him mine tasted sour- I ordered y favorite beer, I know what it should taste like and this wasn’t it. He chuckled and had me fast his. WAY WORSE. It hit my stomache and I thought I was going to vomit. Never left beer on the table before coming here. Disgusting experience all around. Too bad, it used to be a favorite place to go.

Went here Friday night with a group to celebrate a friends birthday, but the bouncer tried to take mine and my friend’s IDs and claimed they were fake. Big tough guy threatened to call the cops so we told him to do so as our IDs are not fake, and he made us wait 10 minutes for the so-called police who never came. All the while, he was letting in countless others without even checking their IDs. He was bluffing and finally gave us our IDs back and let us inside. Absolutely unprofessional. Learn to spot actual fake IDs before trying to take real ones. Train your employees.
