A great “Blast from the Past” !! Not the best, but beats the “chains” hands down! And the service is fantastic! Too bad they are only open three days a week!! BBQ is homemade and the BBQ’d Beans, w/ chopped Pork added, is Yummy ! Check ✔️ out the Chuckwagon sandwich next time you’re hungry rolling down Rt 460 in Petersburg.

Little Pig Barbecue has a pretty common selection of roadside food stand offerings. The chopped pork is pretty ok. They use a mustard based vinegar sauce to dress the meat. Not much of a smoke flavor or bark in the meat but a basic traditional chopped pork with slaw. Service is quick and the portions were generous.

Excellent food and they cook it right there. The barbecue is to die for. You can also get burgers, fries, Mac and cheese, dessert, onion rings and much more . very old established company that is family owned. They have the friendliest staff and the owner AL Rawlings is the sweetest man and would help anyone. I highly recommend this number one restaurant.

The place has a simple menu of burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, hotdogs and sides but they do it very well. They’ve been around for 3 generations and for good reason. They use the same recipe as when they first started and it would be a nice place to grab a quick filling bite if you’re ever in town.

I went there primarily for the foot long hotdogs and they had none. So I got two regular hotdogs the taste wasn’t great. The hot dogs must have been in the water too long, the chili was better but the hotdog bun was beat up. Might go back if someone else buys.

Called a few days ahead & ordered 12 pounds to take a cookout today. Ready when I got there & they carried it out to my car. Consistently heard, “That’s the best bbq I’ve had in a long time!”

Little Pig has the very best BBQ in town! I, always, get the family pack as their baked beans and cole slaw are, absolutely, delicious! Try their BBQ sauce too…wonderful! I highly recommend Little Pig!
