My wife and I enjoyed our dinner and experience at Alfie’s. Greg and his staff are awesome. I am really impressed with how Greg, the owner, is hands-on and personable with each and every customer. My wife had the shrimp platter and I had the crabmeat-stuffed halibut. We both had their homemade clam chowder and their homemade key lime pie. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. You may have to wait a little bit to be seated, but it is worth the wait. So what are you waiting for? Get your butt to Alfie’s! We’re glad we did.

I love, love, love it here. We go at least once a month, every month. This restaurant is always busy. We usually have to wait for service but, it is certainly worth it. I love the prime rib here and my husband really loves the baked fish platters. They are bigger than the plate. AND the desserts are heavenly. You must try the messy sundae. Some of them are HUGE !

Consistently good, welcoming, and budget friendly. Meals were perfectly done prime rib, excellent clam chowder, fresh salad, and crab stuffed white fish. Top it off with friendly service from Julie B. This is one of those Ormond Beach musts!

Service was the problem here. Rating is 3.5; giving a 4 here.
Wife and I stood a good bit waiting to be seated. Long wait between getting menus, placing order, big wait for food, then no check of ‘is everything great with your meal’. Forget trying to get desert because I can’t imagine the wait.
My admiral seafood plate was great; wife’s prime rib with garlic was excellent.
Hopefully they can staff it proper at some point.

Cute place. Friendly staff. Just wasn’t impressed with the food. My daughter and I got the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was fine, but both of our croissants had a soggy spot on the bottom. The hashbrowns were okay but not as crispy as I like and expect. If you go there and get the croissant sandwich, don’t get the American Cheese!!!! My daughter said it was awful. I had them put shredded cheddar on mine and the sausage on it, the flavor was solid. I left there full so I really can’t complain. I would go again, just wouldn’t be my first choice. ‍♂️

You can find this gem at Ormond-By-The-Sea

Great welcoming staff, have a drink at the bar while you wait or enjoy the view of the ocean across the street.

Little homestyle restaurant across street from the beach. Server was friendly and efficient. She recommended the New England Clam Chowder and Coconut Shrimp. The soup was excellent. The shrimp was somewhat cold and dry, but still tasty. My husband had the fried Haddock. He said it was cooked perfectly, and very good. The one disappointment was the grilled chicken breast. It was truly awful. Very dry, hatd to cut through, and tasted like cardboard. I don’t recommend this dish. Our server brought out fresh and tasty chicken fingers to replace the inedible chicken breast, so that was a plus. Our KeyLime Pie was delicious. Despite the chicken breast I would recommend Alfie’s. We plan to visit again.

Our server Lily was GREAT! Prices are a bit steep, but the food is excellent. Building is ready for some upgrades. If I had to pick a restaurants based on the facility or service I would pick great service over an updated facility. But both would be better.

Stay away. The kitchen needs a new chef, or maybe replacing the short order cook with someone who knows what they’re doing. No kidding, I ordered the hand cut salmon filet “Blackened” upon arrival. Nope, it was missing the seasoning, a fine Sprinkle of seasoning appeared on top of the filet. Surprised, I mentioned my disappointment to our server. She quickly understood and took away the plate and returned a few minutes later with the same filet with a little more seasoning. Nope, now the filet was dried out, tough, and sticking to the plate. Never have I experienced a poorly prepared and presented dinner dish. They have a lot of nerve to charge $17 for such a disappointing experience. Our total check came to $67.07. Happy Father’s Day. Maybe the chef was given the day off for Father’s Day!
