The food was Absolutely amazing. I always like to try Indian food and this place is now in my top 5 favorite Indian spots. Everything was juicy all together! SHAWN was super nice too, he engaged with me and recommend their mango smoothie which was sooooooo good and refreshing. It had a little kick of ginger and I love ginger. This experience was amazing, I will be coming back again and again. PLUS their portion is so much that can last you 3 days, no joke. 11/10 -Marry

Dining at Pakwan during Ramadan was such a beautiful experience for our family. From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, welcoming, and just right for the season.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, the lamb curry was rich and tender, and the keema samosas were crisp little pockets of heaven. The garlic naan came out warm and buttery, perfect for scooping up the creamy paneer tikka masala — which was hands down one of the best I’ve had. And the reishmi kebabs? So juicy, so flavorful, just melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

There’s something extra special about sharing a meal like this during Ramadan — breaking fast with food that’s made with care, depth, and tradition. Pakwan truly delivered not just a meal, but an experience. We left full, grateful, and already planning our next visit.

Highly, highly recommend. ✨

Pakwan was my first taste of Indian cuisine and I was blown away!! The spicy lamb vindaloo was phenomenal!! Perfect amount of spice and paired great with the white rice. They have a wide variety of naan which is also great to pair with any of the dishes they offer! Make sure you get you some Gulab Jamun, it was my absolute favorite item I tried!! Super sweet and delicious and not too much on the stomach!! 10/10 recommend! Service is phenomenal and the owner is super generous and makes you feel like a celebrity in your visit!

Had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant in Savannah. The food was absolutely delicious…full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Chaand, who took such great care of me and made the whole experience even better. And of course, Simba…the sweetest and cutest dog….just made the visit extra special. Great food, great service, and great vibes. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent and service was great also. My daughter and I was pleasantly surprised of how the food tasted. Try it for yourself and thank me later. (OH we got Lamb meat as our choice of meat.)

While in Savannah, we celebrated Thanksgiving lunch here.

Chef made vegetable pakoras for me using Chickpea flour in a dedicated GF dedicated fryer when I told them I had celiac disease (so yummy- actually brought tears to my eyes.)

For the main course, had Palak Paneer and Bindi Pyazz with rice – equally delicious.

Attentive staff, generous portions
and remarkable food made this a very memorable meal. Highly recommend for anyone in the mood for an authentic Indian meal, particularly for celiacs.

Thanks again for making me feel safe and pleasantly satiated! Really hit the spot! Namaste!

Drove for an hour to get here for my parent’s birthday as this restaurant typically served quality food; however, it was a complete disaster, making sure we will never go back.
Firstly, the waiter was extremely unprepared and unprofessional, not knowing if they had wine or tea or coffee (2/3 were not available). We ordered an appetizer and a naan basket, which was shoved all together with 2/4 of our entrees. The naan was burnt, dry, and the “garlic naan” had no hint of it. Found a white hair in my samosa that made me lose my appetite. 3rd entree came 10 minutes later, and 4th 20 minutes later with nobody updating on the time. The kebab meat was dry, burnt, hard, and definitely not fresh. No rice came with the kebabs either, which had never been the case before, but we still had to pay almost $20 for that shriveled mesh of meat? We brought leftovers home at least for our pets. Oh and watch out because gratuity is automatically added. Really big disappointment; they won’t stay in business long if this service continues.

Returned to this restaurant after my first experience way back in 2017/2018. Take away order with a friend and had bad experience.

Service was decent though order was a bit messed they did fix it for us. But it was awfully late.

Food quality was poor. Roti was pathetic it was like hard shell. Naan was also a bit hard but it was manageable because of gluten and then butter. Curry chicken had some sort of weird taste or smells. Felt too pricy. We went to another one in the downtown almost similar menu and price was much better in terms of dollar and looking at the location and quality of the food.
