I found this place while exploring the area after I checked into my hotel. I have to say they had some amazing burritos and a colorful array of employees. The guy at the bar took good care of me and let me know what options would be good. I can say that this was a place I was happy to try while on my trip to New Orleans.

We stopped in to Juan’s Flying Burrito while in New Orleans as we didn’t want to eat downtown so we came here on a whim. We weren’t expecting the food & drinks to be all that great but I had the nachos & they were the best I’ve ever had! I have to eat gluten free & was pleasantly surprised that they have all the gluten free options clearly marked on the menu. We also ordered regular margaritas & they were incredibly tasty with quite a bit of alcohol! I was a bit tired when walking in to Juan’s but by the time I walked out I felt like a million bucks! Thanks to the staff for such great service & an awesome meal & drinks!!!

We were in the area to get tattoos from Idle Hands up the street and they recommend this place for good food and happy hour. They were pretty busy, even at about 3pm on a Sunday but was able to seat 6 of us right away. Our server was awesome with quick refills and great food and drink recommendations. Portions are huge, we all wish we would have shared more. Dip trio and street corn dip were delicious. I had the flying burrito and it was 10/10 – the combination of meats was amazing. The nachos and quesadilla are huge and delicious. The double house margaritas for $8 really kicked off the afternoon and you could tell that was a double. If you’re in that area looking for good mexican-creole food you can’t go wrong stopping here.

Neat Mexican restaurant in the garden district. Delicious guacamole and I can highly recommend the Al Pastor burrito. Pork was tasty and balanced with just the right amount of pineapple. The decor is really interesting as well.

I was not expecting anything special when arriving at Juan’s. But left totally impressed. The fish tacos were amazing as were the chicken Street tacos. The salsa and quest were fresh and tasty too. The Monday all day happy hour was an added bonus. Garrett was a very attentive waiter and made sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied! Thanks Garrett and way to go Juan!

Awesome! I ordered the Fresh Bowl, with shrimps…it was fresh, delicious, came out faster than fast food!
Music was too loud when we got there. I asked our server if it can be turned down, and they did!
Definitely will come back.

Really cool place. The queso was excellent, as were the chips. Service was fast, and portions were generous. The Super Bowl was delicious and fresh, and I had plenty of leftovers for lunch.

Good place to get reliable vegetarian options in New Orleans. They had plenty of dishes to choose from. We eventually landed on the Tres Frijoles Nachos, pictured below, and some wildly large burrito. The food portions are huge, so be warned. The nachos is a meal in itself. Also the place is decorated with fun, whimsical paintings and montages and has a light, upbeat feel. Great place for lunch.
