Oh. My. Goodness. Old style diner goodness. We will be back. Lots of parking. Very clean and nicely decorated. Wait staff was kind and helpful. Keep coffee hot and keep watching in case we needed anything. I had the vegetable omelet and red skin home style hash browns. I can’t say enough about how good that was. Tasted like things I ate as a kid. I can’t wait to go back. The toast was homemade bread too. So delicious . If you stop in grab a chocolate chip cookie, I only bought one, wish I bought a dozen. Amazing perfectly cooked. Take it from a baker, those were amazing.
Second visit just as good. I love when you can go back and things taste the same.

I get cream puffs and custard puffs mostly; which are tasty and a good value. The pies are good too. They have a diner vibe. I have had other food too and it was good. Someone asked if Ferraro’s was accessible, these are pictures of the entrance; there is a slight bump at the outer door.

1st time at Ferraro’s Family restaurant. My mom happend to come across it on one of the reels she was watching, so we wanted to give it a try. A large menu selection to choose from, for a little restaurant. I ordered the Homemade baked lasagna. It came with a side salad, and I ordered 2 pieces of the homemade garlic toast. The lasagna, had a very good taste, nice cheese pull, and a flavorful sauce. The garlic toast was very good. My mother ordered the chicken livers, with the fresh cut fries, and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. The soup was very thick, the fries were very cooked perfectly, and she enjoyed the chicken livers. The portions were good sized, and she needed a to go container. They had a great selection of pies, and we decided to split a piece of banana cream pie. We enjoyed the slice so well, that we took a whole pie home with us. I would definitely go back the next time I was in south Canton.

This restaurant has been around since I was young and visiting family that lived nearby. Such a nostalgic blast from the past to go back to Ohio and still have it there. Our table ordered cheese bread, a Ferraro burger with sautéed veggies, onion rings and a vegetable omelette with hash-browns. The bread was still homemade and the service was good. Everyone was very nice. Love to see family restaurants making it and being a part of so many memories!

Just passing through, I have ate here twice, soon many great things on the menu, difficult to decide. EXCELLENT food, and I just asked how long they been in business, over 100 years, started in 1900. Service is great, this would be a great place to eat on a regular basis, home cooked food is hard to find these days.

Made a door dash order from here. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast and the cherry cheesecake. My dasher informed me that they were very busy and had a single party with a table of 20 people. So I understand that there would be a wait which isn’t a problem at all. I run a buisness and sometimes you just get busy and get behind. The country fried steak breakfast was actually very good. I got the potatoes and a biscuit which went good along side of the eggs and steak. To my disappointment I did not receive my cherry cheesecake. I was disappointed about not getting it because it looked so good on the menu. Door dash gave me the credit back for the cheesecake and made it right but I really wished they had an option of retrieving the missing item or items and bringing them back to you. Either way the food was good and I recommend trying if you are in the area. Thanks

As you may or may not know, this restaurant is now under new management and it is not the same place as it used to be. My father and I went there today for dinner. It was New Year’s Day so I got the pork and sauerkraut dinner with two sides, corn and noodles. My father got a simple Italian sausage sandwich with a side of coleslaw and coffee.
There was so little pork with my sauerkraut that I could not find it. It was essentially a plate of sauerkraut. The corn tasted funny, and the noodles were mostly the broth that they were cooked in.
This was not the worst of it. When we got to the cashier, we discovered that our two simple meals were over $28, which did not include the tip for the waitress who didn’t even bring us our bill before we were ready to leave. The cost of these meals was outrageous considering what I got and the fact that my father only got a small sausage sandwich.
I can say for a fact that this will be the last time that my father and I will ever go to this restaurant again for any meal. If this Is the way that this new management is going operate this restaurant, it is going to be gone in short order.
I would advise anybody to avoid this place. The food is mediocre and you don’t even get enough to call it a dinner. And to add injury to insult, the price is ridiculous for what It is and what they give you. Had I gotten anything to drink but water, the price would’ve been over $30.
Very disappointing to see such an iconic restaurant go down the drain, but that’s exactly where this one is going now.

First time here. I was passing through on the way back from Cleveland. A nice country cooking place with a bakery addition. It’s really hard to eat a meal here and not grab a delectable on the way out. So many to choose from. The lasagna I had was really good and so was the toast. The atmosphere was what to be expected from similar places. You could tell a lot of the people there were regulars. But everyone was really friendly and did a good job of making us feel welcome. Plenty of options on the menu also. You could eat here for all three meals for a month and never have the same thing twice. My kind of eatery and glad to see a place like this in the North. I would recommend if you’re wanting some southern comfort.
