This is one of my husband’s favorite Mexican restaurants. Every time we go, it’s always a hit. They have the best ceviche hands down! Honestly, anyone who can get me to eat cilantro and cold fish deserves an award . Perfectly balanceddddd.
If you go, make sure to ask for Alejandro. He really makes the whole experience that much better!

I had an outstanding experience at Chelino’s Mexican Restaurant, largely thanks to Alan, the manager. I had a slight issue with my order, but Alan handled it with the utmost professionalism and turned the situation around completely. His commitment to customer satisfaction was evident, and he went above and beyond to ensure I left happy. Because of Alan, I’ll definitely be back!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The service was absolutely spectacular – our drinks were never empty, we had endless chips and queso, and we were frequently checked on. The food was delicious, and I ended up taking some leftovers for lunch the next day, which was just as good leftover!

The best Mexican restaurant in Norman! I’d even go as far to say of all time! Very friendly service every time we visit! Very down to earth and casual. The building used to be a Burger King a decade ago, but was remodeled when Chelinos purchased it. What’s awesome is sitting where the play area was because it is a giant window room!
The food is always amazing! Both the queso and salsa are delicious and could be a stand alone meal by themselves.
Chelinos gives generous portions for to-go orders, and will often throw in extra bags of chips and large cups of salsa/queso into the order.

It’s a decent little Mexican spot! We went there for lunch and enjoyed it. The food came out VERY fast. I paid $12 for the quesadilla lunch portion and it was smaller than I expected for the price, so I’d recommend the “Make Your Own”. It has larger portion sizes and will be better bang for your buck.
The waiter was not too intrusive but came just often enough to keep everything going.
