I am quick to make comments when things go wrong but I like to be just as diligent when something goes right. We went to Houston and was being turned away from the bar area because they were completely booked. The gentleman who walked us out had spoken ro me on the phone saying there was space at that time. Sensing our disappointemtn just as we were waiting outside and going to walk off they had a cancellation and he offered it to us. A class act he could have just let things go as it was but he was thoughtful and we were seated quickly . I knew I loved this place for a reason

They don’t take cash. Although there’s no indication anywhere until you try to pay. The burger was average. The price was above average. I expected more from Houston’s meat quality. This is my last time coming here. Edit: pics show notification of cashless payment system

Friendly receptionist and staff. Clean open kitchen. See chefs preparing meals. Pete was very knowledgeable and new his menu and ingredients very well. Great ambiance. Loved it. We are here twice while in town this week. We also met the Mayor of NOLA here.

Hostess, waitresses and waiters were very professional, friendly, and quick to serve. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. We had to pinch ourselves when we received our steaks, as they were the best we’ve ever tasted. The red wine, as well as the ice cream sundae – delicious!

Me and my girlfriend went for Valentine’s Day yesterday and it was amazing the food was beyond, never had nothing that made me forget the price like that, just wow. We had the ribs and filet 10000/10. Also the server named Kamora H. Deserves a raise she was the best, she was very nice and very attentive to us, when she told us ” we can do anything y’all would like” we instantly knew it was gonna be a good night and it was. knowing she had just started 2 weeks ago she definitely set the standard for service, we will definitely be back.

Houston’s was a great experience for us. We didn’t have a reservation and sat at the bar which was perfect. I wish I would’ve gotten the two bartenders names because they really made the experience. Fantastic service and the cocktails were great. I had a sazerac and my wife had a cosmo I believe. We split the ribs which came with a loaded baked potato which were both good then split the biscuits as well. We liked the vibes of the place and the comfortable *leather seating. The food was good but not fantastic but the service and cocktails were the reason for the 5 star visit.

Stopped in for lunch at Houston’s in New Orleans and was seriously impressed. I ordered the fried Grouper sandwich, and it was outstanding—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and topped with a fresh, tangy coleslaw that added the perfect crunch and flavor contrast. It’s easily one of the best fish sandwiches I’ve had.

Friendly service. Top quality steak cooking. From the UK 20 bucks for a dip seemed a bit much …. But a bloody good dip and we enjoyed all the food.
