Decided to stop by B & M’s last night for some music and relaxation with friends. We sat outside where music was playing and our bar server was Courtney. Such a delightful individual full of life. She was very professional and happy to assist us during the night. There was a nice crowd around the outside bar and she made sure everyone was well taken care of. An asset to this establishment. I would highly recommend Burt & Max’s for any occasion.

We were three couples having dinner after an afternoon at the movies. We were given a round table, which was very comfortable and easy for us to talk and hear each other. It was also 7:30 pm when we arrived, which is a late time for most patrons in this area surrounded by adult communities. Jake was our waiter who was excellent. We had a few menus to choose from with specials, and I had the Power-bowl with chicken. It was packed with vegetables, sweet potatoes and quinoa. It was a generous portion. I was able to have another meal from the leftovers. Our friends had other salads and appetizers like edamame, and a spinach cheese dip with chips. Paul had the Mongolian beef with broccoli but he thought it was tough and the brown sauce was too salty. The best items to get here would be more classic American fare – the Asian salad, hamburgers etc. It’s a local venue in an upper class plaza which has indoor and outdoor dining options.

This place is very suburban mall vibes. Decent food but nothing memorable. Spinach dip just fine. Chicken pot pie needs more liquid. Menu is very broad including pizzas and Beef Stroganoff. Nothing will blow you away but it’s fine.

After movie drinks at bar. Very attentive and responsive service. We ordered 2 watermelon martinis and they were arguably the worst drink I’d ever had. Tasted like sugar water with lime. The bartender quickly replaced the drinks and let us taste the watermelon which was ‘out of season’. Maybe take it off menu if you know it sucks? My next drink was a cosmo which was the worst cosmo I’ve ever had. Way over-limed…The margarita pizza was delicious! I also hear their burgers have won best burger before. My takeaway? Go for food and drink wine not mixed drinks!

Fantastic Cocktails & Delicious Food!
Bert and Max’s is a gem! The Old Fashioned was amazing—smooth, perfectly balanced, and strong enough that one is all you need. I had the salmon and shrimp burger, and it was absolutely incredible—full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and top-notch food and drinks. Can’t wait to come back!

I came here in early April on a Saturday evening for dinner with three others. We were visiting family in the area. The weather was seasonal and dry. We made the reservation a few days prior but while the restaurant was very lively, it seemed like there were tables available for walk-in.
The menu is a bit all over the place. Overall, this restaurant felt like something between a Morton’s steakhouse and a TGI Friday’s. The whole place experience sort of embodied irrelevancy and nothing at all unique. The food was fine and the service was great. Our server seemed like she really wanted to do well at her job. The decor and mood of the restaurant felt like something from the mid 2000s.
I would come back to the restaurant if someone else wanted to dine here; but I wouldn’t seek another visit on my own.

I had a great experience at Burt & Max’s on Sunday. We went for a Sunday brunch with a party of 15. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in. Our server Anna was amazing. She was very personable and did a great job the entire time, which was a couple of hours. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Burt & Max and can’t wait to visit again soon!
