This place is wonderful. Absolutely delicious and we got in JUST before a rush showed up. The cashier/server was bilingual (helpful for a novice Spanish speaker) and very helpful with menu choices. I got the verde burrito and we grabbed a carnitas plate with a couple of cokes. The whole thing was under $25. That’s impossible and also amazing.

The grande burrito is gigantic. But will save well if you’re into leftovers.
The chips and salsa were hotter than I expected, which was awesome.

This is clearly a well-loved spot.

Starting off with the tortilla— amazing. Warm, chewy in the best way. Filled generously with eggs, beans, and sausage and cheese in our case. The burritos are HUGE and we split a chico and were perfectly satisfied. We also got the melón agua fresca which paired perfectly.

I like the prices of the food, the only thing is it can be very greasy and hot. If you like fire this is your place. The barbacoa is the greasiest. So grab a lot of napkins and a bib. But the rest of the food is pretty good. The burritos are good size for the price. People aren’t bad. It’s pretty clean as well. Bathrooms are decent. Parking can be tricky but there is a tall gentleman and a young one to help you navigate. They work on tips. Those two are pretty awesome.

We love Rafas. A classic local favorite. It almost burned down not too long ago we responded and put the fire out quickly and effectively, saved the building and restaurant. Ain’t no way we gonna lose this gem.

I ordered a large chili Colorado burrito and it’s not an exaggeration to say that this burrito ruined all other burritos for me forever. The tortilla? Fresh. The filling? Incredible. It was so delicious. I have never before had a burrito so delicious and I fear I will never have a burrito as good as this again. This burrito is a spiritual experience, as delicious as it is divine, I have found the best burrito on earth and it is here.

Ok, listen, I’m telling you that this was the biggest damn burrito I have ever seen and for like $8. This was one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had, and the tortilla was fresh, hot, homemade, and HUGE. Seriously, it had to be 24 inches long, I cut it in half and fed myself and a friend. This is a must try. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

I got the carne asada burrito and it was delicious! All my coworkers loved theirs as well. I hadn’t had a Rafa’s burrito in years and they are still amazing!

A hidden gem that could be a huge tourist spot if they marketed it. Heard about these massive arm sizes burritos from coworkers. One of their “grande” burritos could feed 2-4 people. They are THAT big. They’re bigger than a baby. My hubby felt there should be a display burritos out, lol. I got a picadillo burrito with beans and cheese, and it tasted almost exactly like a chimichamga (not spicy just the way I like it). I was surprised how little they charged for so much burrito even though it tasted amazing with such a soft giant tortilla.

Rip off! I ordered a carne asada big burrito and it was like 80% tortilla. I also ordered a large lengua that wasn’t much either. You got me this time Rafas. But I am not ever going back. $20 bucks worth of burritos- most expensive tortillas ever!
