Food is always kicken!! The place is hard to clean I know but usually can use a quick wipedown. The scan to bring up rewards I was not able to do user error possible. Outside of cleanliness and tech the food is 100 percent always freshly made the staff is always kind. Also I love they provide pleanty of sauces not skimpy with them they are out and you can take what you like. They also donate to local schools for certain days!!! Love communal businesses!!! Overall 5 out of 5 stars for ordering to go. Eating in can be on or off because location traffic is heavy sometimes. They offer a easy drive through though. Must try the shakes. All especially nutella are amazing!!! You get a free shake if you sign up for their rewards program!!! Definitely kid friendly space and young adults also in abundance!!!! Chill vibing atmosphere like indoor outdoor vibe.

I took the family to Come Back Shack for lunch. We frequent this restaurant because it is so good. You can tell that things are made in-house. Service and atmosphere are good. The Come Back Sauce is what pushes my rating to a 5-star.

We stopped by the Come Back Shack after a college tour at Charleston Southern University and we had a flavorful, well-balanced meal. The Porky Sliders were the standout: tender, smoky pulled pork with just the right amount of sauce, packed into soft, slightly toasted buns. They hit the sweet spot between comfort food and elevated barbecue.
Our sweet treat was a Oreo Shake, it was thinner than we are used to but creamy, and loaded with cookie crumbles. It felt like dessert in a glass and paired surprisingly well with the savory sliders.
Since it was so hot outside, I chose something lite so I had the Skinny Salad. It was crisp and well-portioned, with a nice mix of greens, cucumbers, spinach, carrots and a light vinaigrette. It was simple but refreshing.
We washed it all down with a house Lemonade that was tart, very sweet, and super refreshing. It was a great way to cut through the richness of the meal.
The vibe of the place matched its name—rustic charm with antique touches and a laid-back barbecue bar atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving good food in a chill setting.

I used to drive past this place all the time on my way to work. Today I finally tried it out for lunch and man was it good! The seasoned fries and bacon cheese burger were delicious; fries were crispy and well seasoned. The burger was cooked perfectly, sporting a slice of perfectly melted cheese. The burger had fresh veggies like lettuce, cucumber, onion and tomato, and when I say fresh I mean FRESH. I also got an Oreo milk shake which was a treat to make the day for sure. Thick but no too thick, with plenty of Oreo chunks to satisfy my sweet tooth. I’d rate this place higher if I could! I look forward to coming back to the shack! Shout out to the service too, nice and quick. Didn’t take but 5mins to get my food. Keep it up y’all!

Come Back Shack started out as a great spot in North Charleston for a quality quick burger. In the beginning, the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service has always been great, and the staff continues to be friendly, welcoming, and attentive every time I visit.
Unfortunately, the food quality just isn’t what it used to be. Over time, the burgers and sides have lost the freshness and consistency that originally made this place stand out. It’s disappointing, especially because I had such high expectations that Come Back Shack would remain a go-to spot for a quick but great burger.
I truly hope they can bring back the quality they once had, because the service and atmosphere are still fantastic. With a little attention to the food side of things, they could easily return to being one of a good burger options in the area. I will update if changes are made to improve on food quality.

Food is normally good. Not consistently good. My biggest issue with this location is accuracy. There’s not been one time I’ve went through the drive through and my order is correct.

Let me just say my wife and I love the Come Back Shack! Boone is our favorite. The food is always good but we have had some problems with our total bills (Overcharged) 3 out of the last 4 times we have been at the N. CHARLESTON RESTAURANT. All of our orders have been inside. I was charged exactly $2 more for a meal and on another occasion $1. My wife was charged more than that,maybe $4 more than it should have been. My wife questioned the cashier and he said he doesn’t discriminate, even if you are a billionaire. That tells me they are scamming and adding tips to orders without you knowing about it. This better stop or I will get city/county officials involved! It is totally wrong and unlawful! Period!!

Even though I felt like my stomach was going to explode after eating so much food it was decent. Not the best burger I have had in the world but good enough for me to come back again. Their sweet tea is good; it’s labeled as “seriously southern sweet tea.” Their cheese fries weren’t the best; not enough cheese on the fries and wasn’t getting that wow factor.

I’ve been coming here since you guys opened. I always had good service but tonight When my wife bit into her sandwich the chicken was raw. I would just like to let the managers owners know to go over the night staff because it doesn’t seem like they’re doing a great job like they were before. It has been the past few visits we have been disappointed. This review will change as soon as I let you become aware of this .
