Good food, Great service. My wife and I went to Ziggie’s the first time for dinner during an overnight travel stop. What a hidden gem! We couldn’t have been any more satisfied with the food or service. Our server answered all of our questions and offered recommendations when asked. We had the Pork tenderloin and the Country fried steak. Both dishes were hot and freshly made with tender cuts of meat. One of, if not the best country fried steaks we’ve eaten. I wish our stay was longer so we could go back and try some of the other dishes. This place will definitely be on our list of “have to stop by” the next time we are in the area. We also bought a piece of key lime pie to go and once again not disappointed. The whole experience was definitely worthy of a 5 star plus rating.

They don’t start making your carry out order until you arrive so what’s the point.
It’s definitely not like they were packed either. I didn’t see them serving more than five tables.
The food is definitely not worth the price.
I wouldn’t recommend this site anyway.

Breakfast anytime, I got the Missouri omelette and the Pecan Belgian waffle. Both were excellent, hashbrowns were crispy on the edge and soft in the center. My biscuit and gravy was fluffy. There were a lot of regulars eating there when I ate an early dinner. They have a lot of dessert options

Extremely friendly hosts who make you feel like a regular immediately. I’ve gone a couple times now and both experiences were delightful. Delicious and generous portions. I strongly recommend the veggie skillet, but I’m sure all the skillets are tasty. I will definitely be frequenting!

Ziggie’s Café in Springfield, MO, is a hidden gem for anyone craving hearty comfort food with a homemade touch. I ordered the Hot & Hearty Hot Pork Tenderloin, which was clearly hand-breaded, juicy, and bursting with flavor—just like a home-cooked meal! The creamy mashed potatoes, though a bit modest in portion, were delicious, and the gravy complemented the meal perfectly. The cup of chicken noodle soup was the ideal starter, rich with that unmistakable homemade warmth. The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were a fantastic surprise; you get incredible value without breaking the bank! I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in town.

It’s a diner. As far as diners go, I give it five stars. We always order from here when we’re staying next door at the dog-friendly Coach House.
I’ll tell you what, the fried chicken is fantastic with their homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, and coleslaw. Don’t let the dark fried outer shell fool you… Inside that delicious crispy skin is tender juicy awesomeness.
Anyway, yes there’s a Culver’s across the street but we can get that anywhere. Try something local. Get some Ziggy’s.

Ordered all you could eat fish it looked good when we got it but it was under cooked the fish itself would slide out of the breading and was a little pink looking the batter was tough and greased soaked so we thought they got in a hurry so we just asked for more fish. But it was the same way the baked potato was also a little under cooked it had little bits of raw potato in it if you have ever had an under cooked baked potato, you know what I mean .the slaw was really good. But when we told our waitress about the fish and potatoes. She was rude and angry like she cooked it so we ask to speak to the manager she rolled her eyes and said she would take care of the issue while some other employees were making rude comments so we paid full price and went on our way. Avoid this place remember you will be treated like you did something wrong it your food is wrong I will not return to this place we will find some place else to get fish

We called on Thankgiving to see if they were serving and was told to come on down. It was 1:30 pm. We were seated, given the Holiday menu. My wife odered the Turkey with the fixens. I had the ham with baked potato and salad. Drinks came and my salad. I was in shock. I have eaten in 5 star restaurants in Kansa City and St. Louis but i wasn’t prepared for this. The salad was the best I have ever had. The meal was perfect and they even had pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Then came the bill, another shock came. I hadn’t looked at the prices but I thought they only charged me for one meal. What a place. First class. Springfield Missouri who would have guessed?
