Chinese hot spot offering noodles, dumplings & steamed buns in a minimalist, counter-serve space.

Hadn’t been here in a while, probably over a year, maybe two. Really missed their noodle dumpling half and half so came to treat myself today. I was disappointed. The equivalent option is more expensive, for one, and if you want to grab a beer with it you’re looking at close to $30. Price aside, the food is still good, but it’s not as good as what I remember. The dumplings weren’t the same. I do like the mala noodles which was not something they previously had. The pork was cut into small chunks though, I preferred the original shredded style. Otherwise the vibe is the same. I will probably still come back from time to time, as while the food is different, and not the comforting recipes I remember from when I was in college, the current food IS still pretty good. I think if I’d never been before I would be happy with the food quality and taste, though the price is still a bit hard to swallow in this economy.
Overall still a great place for finding food that’s different from the majority of what can be found in Little Rock. I would still recommend people try it if they’ve never been, but would caution folks who are familiar with the old menu that they may be slightly disappointed.
Oh and anyone who complains about the food being too spicy is being sensitive. I always ordered “spicy” so I did again today, and the spice level is so much lower than what they originally called “spicy”. This tastes like what use to be their medium option, in my opinion! Still good though!

I ordered the scallion noodles with pork belly and the pork dumplings. The noodles and pork belly were fine, nothing outstanding. However, the pork in the dumplings were undercooked. I took it back to the short lady at the counter and she insisted they were cooked through. I know what undercooked pork tastes like, I wasn’t born yesterday. They are going to give people food poisoning serving undercooked ground meat. I feel sick just thinking about it.

I have ALWAYS loved Three Fold food and am frequently there – especially for their noodle soup. I was skeptical about their new menu change but LOVE their seasoned fries and tofu bao bun – which were filling and delicious! I will have to try their noodle bowls now and go back for more bao buns!

This place was definitely a hit for New Year’s Day. It was not very busy but an early dinner is what we decided. I tried the beef noodles and dumplings with a Jasmines and leeche tea, my partner had the the dim sum dumplings and Jasmine tea with mango. It was delicious and well worth it

We went here on our trip to Little Rock. They have self service and the food was excellent.
The dumplings are handcrafted perfection, and the noodles? Oh, they’re heavenly. Don’t miss the dipping sauces; they elevate every bite. They offer options for vegetarian. The menu is simple yet delightful. Try their bao buns, they’re soft pillows of joy. Pair with a steaming cup of tea for the perfect meal.
Three Fold is a must-visit for foodies and anyone looking for authentic flavors. It’s a little corner of culinary heaven in Little Rock.

This was the perfect place for a cold gloomy day. It was the perfect comfort food. We got the half and half bowl with tossed peanut noodles with pork belly and steamed chicken dumplings. The seasame balls are the perfect “dessert” ending to a meal. 10/10 recommend.

The food is delicious! The portions are small so you might want to order 2 plates per 1 person. I am definitely going back. I like that they allow you to choose your spice level. The 1st time I had their taro chip they were so amazing, the flavor was evenly distributed. The 2nd time it was a little salty.

The only thing wrong with my visit today is that I didn’t have a friend to share with so I could have tried more stuff. I got the dumplings and they were fabulous. Light, airy, fresh and full of yummy flavor.
Arriving just before the dinner hour started, the dining area was quiet. It was also clean, including the soda fountain area. My dumpling order didn’t take very long until it was ready and I cleared the bowl.
Next time, I’ll split noodles and dumplings. Delicious!

This place is AMAZING. We are from So. Cal and it reminded us of the places we LOVE in LA and OC! The esthetic is ON POINT. Simple, modern COOL. You know a place it good when they offer 3 things. NAILED IT! We went for the first time and ordered the half and half, noodles (made from scratch) and dumplings.. . All made in house. I got chicken, and Hubs got pork. I got spicy, and he got Scorpion. Spicy was perfect. That chili oil… YES, PLEASE, on like EVERYTHING!
I got a cocktail, lemon, ginger, and a traditional liquor. Very nice! After I got a Black sesame latte… THANK YOU!! I missed these in Cali, which were so popular and becoming a staple. I was missing it! This place is a gem guys! Honestly, we don’t like “Chinese food” (“american” style). This isn’t what you think. It is quality. It is food with comfort, style, and thoughtful flavor! It’s not fake. This would do AMAZING in LA. Everything was just done RIGHT . We felt less homesick coming here. GREAT JOB Threefold, thanks for being modern!
