The food is so good! If you enjoy medium-rare meats, you’ll love it here. My only small complaint is that I asked for very well-done meat and didn’t get to try many options mostly the lamb and chicken. So, if it’s your first time, I recommend asking in advance for well-done cuts. The buffet offers a great variety of items, and the soups are definitely worth trying super flavorful and filling.
Don’t forget to save room for dessert (it’s paid separately, but totally worth it!). After this little tip, go ahead and enjoy your Brazilian dining adventure! ️

I haven’t been to a Brazilian steak house in years. The Texas De Brazil did not disappoint! It had the same set up as a normal Brazilian steak house. Beautiful atmosphere with an amazing salad bar. The options on the salad bar were all delicious. It’s hard not to fill up on it, but I controlled myself for what we really came for, the meat! Everything was cooked perfectly. I love lamb and beef and it was all amazing. With the price we will probably will only go back for special occasions, but if you want a delicious and cool experience check it out.

We had a party of 3 and it was all of our first time being there. From the first moment of our arrival we were treated like royalty the staff were amazing the atmosphere was very nice and the food was absolutely top of the line. This was our first time there and it absolutely will Not be the last.

The food was excellent…we only had the salad bar and a bottle of wine because we had a long flight to take and didn’t wanted to be too full. The service was very good, the only thing I did not like the asked us if we wanted dessert and I said no.Im still eating and half a bottle of wine and you want me to make dessert plans…otherwise everything was great.

It was wonderful food. If you like meat, go here. So many choices and not enough room in my belly. Even though the meat is great, the bananas were fantastic to end with. Somehow I was able to eat them. All of the gauchos were great, except one seemed to not like us and completely skipped our table every time. They have a good salad bar, but I was there for the meat!

Today we dined at Texas de Brazil with our family counting 12 with the family pass and were impressed with the exceptional customer service. The staff consistently demonstrate respect and kindness during each visit. The cuisine was outstanding, with the meat cooked to a perfect medium rare.

Beyond disappointing experience.
We’ve eaten at other locations many many times like the Niagara Falls and Yonkers so we know what to expect and that’s why we keep returning to Texas de Brazil.
We’ve eaten in Albany a handful of times over the years and most recently in April 2025 before last nights dinner on 1/24/26.
First when we asked the host if we could have a different table she seemed beyond annoyed and said take it or leave we’re packed as the restaurant was next to empty and the whole time we were there it never reached “packed” level.
Also we barely received any meat service and when we did it was the same cheap cuts, and they didn’t have beef ribs until we were done eating. When the servers did bring meat they were extremely rude and aggressively serving and putting the meat on our plate. Making the vibes super hostile and a terrible first experience for my mom’s birthday. $600 dinner bill with drinks feels like I should have just thrown the money in the trash.
I’ve spent about 7k on Texas de Brazil and Fogo de chao dinners the past 12 months and this location is absolutely not worth the money. The waitress was super friendly but there’s not much she can do when every body else that works there is rude and does not care to do there part.

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this meal. There were three people in our party. The salad bar has many options and they were fresh and very tasty. The lobster bisque was amazing. There were almost too many things to try. Once you have finished and are ready for the meat, you turn your card over and they start coming around with various meats. While I’m not a lamb or pork person, the other people in my party enjoyed those. The filet was the only disappointment as the bacon was too overpowering. If they had the filet without the bacon, it probably would have been delicious. The chicken was by far the best piece of meat. All the meats were juicy and flavorful. They also bring out sides of mashed potatoes, plantains, and french fries. The little cheese rolls were delicious. I would absolutely go back again. Service was attentive. We aren’t alcohol drinkers but there appears to be a variety of options. For three people, we spent $184 plus tip. Yes it is pricey but it really was delicious food. It’s not something you would go to all the time, but for a delicious meal out, I felt this was worth the price.
