The food was excellent so was the service! Our server was Willy and he was always there to serve us quick and easy. The food was so good i was salivating every-time a plate came out. The music and atmosphere were also top notch. I love the sailor theme and the uniform the workers have ❤️

I purchased the Alta Gama, it lacked a lot of flavor, and didn’t include boiled eggs, boiled potatoes, and only had four 2 inch long pieces of corn, and I think the king crab was rancid because the legs had a strong ammonia smell to it which I didn’t see any live crab or lobster in the restaurant, so it’s not too much of a surprise that they had food that went bad. After spending almost $400 US, it was not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it for seafood. If you want to take pictures, and eat food that isn’t seafood, it’s not that bad, but it’s nothing to go crazy about.

Ceviche wss missing salt, and habanero or another spicy pepper and it didn’t have cilantro very bland. The Masa de Cangrejo was excellent. I will.have to come back and try a few other things but bring your wallet because its very pricey. I don’t mind ever paying for good quality food and all of their seafood seems fresh as they have a full blown fish market in the front and tje restaurant in the back. FYI sit inside as the flies were attacking me from all angles in.the outside area but I should have known better eating seafood. Coming back for tje crab legs for sure.

In santo domingo i love this place. They have a martes de caldereta special its what you see on the pictures and fridays shrimps special. For the price and portion its a great deal. Its $2490 rd pesos $40usd with tax.

Food was spoiled and disgusting. Honestly it didn’t even look appealing when they served it. I called for the manager to tell him and the staff told me that it looks bad but tastes fine…I was appalled by that statement. I asked them to take it all back and we will pay for our beers because we did drink those…the manager finally came over and said he apologizes and will take care of it. He comes back with a shrimp meal and that was his way of taking care it I guess…I was not impressed and so disgusted I just wanted to leave. I asked them what did we owe them for the beers and they had the waiter bring me a check that was essentially for both meals. I didn’t have anymore fight in me and I don’t speak fluent Spanish so I just paid the check and gave the waiter a tip because he was a decent man and did his job. The food was just nasty. I wish I could post a picture here you can see the food doesn’t look appetizing. Needless to say I’ll never go back there.

Great place in this busy part of town. Fresh seafood like just pulled out of the ocean and flavorful. The waiter was friendly and funny. My husband had the whole chillo fried fish, which had this special sauce on top, uff, it was incredible. I had the crab monfongo, and that was so delicious and garlicky, my sister in law had the grilled chillo, and she raved about it too. I couldn’t get additional pictures because everyone couldn’t wait to dig in. I only have one complaint, they have a beautiful patio area, but there isn’t a smoking space, there were a couple of guys that were huffing and puffing all the time we were there so it took away from the experience. My suggestion is to have a smoking section at the back of the patio so that it doesn’t affect other customers. Other than that, everything was great.
