Reviews
Came in around 7:40 on a weeknight. Ordered takeout at the counter. Shoulda taken a hint from how long it took the folks in front of us to get their order in. We actually had a hard time as we couldn’t hear the kid helping us (or really ourselves) over supervisor (?) working the next register.
All-in-all, we counted 7 front-of-the-house staff and 2-3 in the kitchen. There were 3 parties inside, a couple folks coming inside to pick up mobile orders, a few cars in the drive through and 4-5 in the curbside spots. Seems like more than enough staff for the load, but none of them were exactly in a rush to get things done. Was actually quite maddening to watch 4 people watch one person put together one order, hand it to a waiting customer, and then go back and put together our order (from already finished items on the pass).
Maybe I’m just old or something, but man, we really set the bar low for qualifies as acceptable performance at work now.
The food itself was OK. My burger was surprisingly bland for fast food (usually over salty), but was good if you can get past the grease that soaked through the wrapper and bag. My daughter’s burger looked like someone got angry and punched the top of it. Other than the smashed-in bun, it was good.
The redeeming factor was that Culver l’s has seemed to do a little better on keeping prices in check than most others. It was $26 for meals w/ fries+drinks for both of us. Not great, but have seen far worse recently.
I did place an online order and have to wait an additional 15 minutes after the set time, so I did Mark it down a bit. No complaints on the food though.
I’m sure this is corporate policy, and I’m here to tell you it’s stupid, inefficient, and angers the customers. I will never eat here again.
They really went above and beyond. The staff that was working Weds night on 11/12 was phenomenal! Thank you guys!!!
I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, pretzel bites and a shake. My burger was seated next to my shake IN A BAG, which caused my shake to melt and my burger to freeze into an absolutely unholy position, which it solidified into permanently, which wasn’t as much of an inconvenience as it may sound. The bun was stale anyway, and hard, so my intentions of eating it ended there. My pretzel bites were the dark shade of brown JUST before something turns black and even the “I like mine dark” people won’t touch it. $30 for honor of ordering their garbage.
Just… Don’t. Culver’s, you’re a disgrace and disgusting.,
I probably would have let it go had they reached out and apologize.
Edit: then I get home and I’m charged for extra items that i don’t ask for! I have onion rings that I didn’t ask for and the burger bun is smashed flat like a pancake. This location sucks!! Worst in Arizona maybe the country!!!
