We stopped at Granny’s Kitchen in Stillwater, OK while traveling and decided to grab breakfast — and we’re glad we did. The food was great with a lot of options to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, just what you want when you’re on the road. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Terrible. Terrible. Was absolutely busy. No problem. It happens. We were told it was gonna take 30 minutes OR LESS. We waited over an hour (almost an hour and a half) to finally get seated I understand time is hard to tell, however when we finally sat down it took a full 45 minutes for the food to come out and the food was awful nothing like the photo looked like the chefs slapped something together to get the food out quicker even though it still took around 45 minutes. Food was cold and old looking. I told the waitress I wanted more queso and toppings to make my meal more accurate to the photo and description and she told me I had to pay for the extra toppings… told the manager and she took half off of the price burrito off the check. In my opinion it should’ve been given to me free due to the experience and crap I was given. Waitress took forever to give us our checks and to go boxes. Overall will not comeback. I understand it was a busy day but you have to give customers what they pay for and not half ass it. No more Granny’s I wish I could give them a 0 star. I came in at 10:35am and finally left at 1:26pm.

Also forgot to mention the ac felt like it was turned off.

I don’t believe that I have ever had a bad meal at any restaurant that had the name “Granny” in it.

Granny’s Kitchen did not disappoint. Located on the SE corner 7th and Main St. in downtown Stillwater, in a nicely remodeled brick building. Inside, the restaurant is smartly decorated in a modern décor mixed with a connection to the past. Between the tee shirts that are for sale, historical pictures and a few artifacts representing rural farm life hang on the walls. In a few areas of the walls, the original brick work is exposed, but masked with a coat of paint. The building’s true age shows through the makeup. The chaotic conglomeration of bricks testify that masonry skills and craftsmanship were not required of the builder, when the original structure was erected. Building codes likely not in vogue either. A work of historical beauty.

On street parking. And directly behind the restaurant, on the east side, is a parking lot. On a busy weekend parking could be a challenge.

Somewhat of a tourist attraction. Souvenirs for the out of towners are prominently on display for purchase.

A bar is available to help celebrate yesterday’s team victory or numb the pain of defeat. Patio seating is available.

Breakfast was perfect. My usual. The picture describes the food. The friendly attentive wait staff keeps your coffee cup full.
What else can I say it’s, “Granny’s” Kitchen.

Wife and I, ordered one nasty granny and shared, Got over full, and still had leftovers! The nasty granny is mind blowingly awesome worth the two hour drive from Claremore.

Talking about food is talking about good experiences, be able to enjoy a meal, and feel warm and happy, only few places can achieve that.
I feel that I was served with love , I had the best server that I have ever had, not even in Japan I had this spectacular sensation, what a guy.
But then after that, I was served an amazing bloody Mary, with crispy bacon, with very good olives and okra, all I can say is well done.
The food just a 10 out of 10, I feel full and happy.
I normally don’t do this, but if you encounter the server, give him some love because he will give you love back.

Took my nieces to Stillwater for Microadventure Monday. Today we went to see the life-sized Transformer “Bumblebee” and to have lunch at “an old restaurant.”

Bumblebee didn’t disappoint, but neither did Granny’s Kitchen. While it wasn’t the old roadside stop my nieces would have preferred it was in the old Main Street neighborhood and had a vintage look to it. The girls LOVED it. We sat in the patio, the girls each ordered (one from breakfast and the other lunch menu). The food was great and the service amazing.

If you’re in the area, give them a try. The breakfast menu is extensive and apparently served all day!

This was my first time coming to Granny’s Kitchen in Stillwater, OK (9/29/24). Everything was great. The parking lot was packed but we were seated within 10 minutes of them acknowledging them we were going to dine in. Food was EXCELLENT with very large portions. “The Nasty Granny” is not to be underestimated. It could easily turn into a two for one meal lol. And last but not least our server, Lexi, was very attentive and informative. She saved me from making the crucial mistake of ordering runny eggs (as a personal pre dance I hate them lol). If I’m ever in the area I will be back❤️
